Liberal anger at Sen. Joe Lieberman spread across Capitol Hill on Tuesday, with a House Democrat from Connecticut calling for his recall and Lieberman himself acknowledging the angst he has caused.
No individual should hold health care hostage, including Joe Lieberman, and Ill say it flat out, I think he ought to be recalled, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) told POLITICO.
Connecticut has no recall law for state officials, and the Constitution does not authorize states to recall members of Congress, since each house has the authority to police its own members.
DeLauro acknowledged that she didnt know if it was possible to oust Lieberman from office. But her comments reflected the deep frustration many Democrats felt after Lieberman told Senate Majority Harry Reid that hed join Republicans in filibustering the Senate health care reform bill if it included either a public insurance option or a provision allowing people ages 55 to 64 to buy into Medicare.
Theres huge concern that borders on frustration, Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) said of Liebermans position.
It goes beyond frustration in Connecticut in terms of the way people feel, Larson said. I have a great deal of respect [for] and I have long admired Joe Lieberman. This goes against the grain of most of what hes fought for and stood for all of his life. Its thoroughly frustrating and disappointing for so many of us.

Anyone who knows CT politics knows that Rosa HATES Lieberman. Rosa is a product of the Dodd machine, which as an institution holds a HUGE grudge against Lieberman for beating Dodd’s good drinking buddy Lowell Weicker in 1988.
She’s an ugly female version of Creed from “The Office”.
How I long for the days when commies and socialists were thought of as enemies of the state and were hunted down!!!
“For you guys out there, imagine waking up to that every morning.”
I would sooner assume room temperature ;-)
I’d prefer to dump ON DeLauro myself...
Gawd she is HAWT.
It’s time to bring back the anti-Communist witch hunts. We need to drive these people out of public life and positions of responsiblity anywhere in society.
Yikes!! Someone please call Animal Control. I’m not sure what it is but it looks rabid.
No individual should hold the appointment of a federal judge hostage either, but the Democrats loved the "hold" power during the Bush administration.
This is just another example of Liberals complaining when the same rules are used against them.

That is, if you ignore Dick Blumenthal...
The state is infested with Democrat thieves and wanna-be tyrants...
Somebody report LaRosa to PETA. She’s wearing a dead guinea pig on her head.
Oh, that is her head! Sorry.
I want to hire that woman for my next Halloween party. She’s scarier than Hillary Clinton with PMS.
There is something in the water in Connecticut that is not good for humans. No wonder my relatives left that state before it went down the crapper.
She is a ugly troll.

The Stan Greenberg book party
Leading Dem Pollster and Mr. Rosa DeLauro Stan Greenberg has a book out “Dispatches From the War Room; In the Trenches with Five Extraordinary Leaders” which leads to only one thing: a book party.
Said book party was thrown by Ron Brownstein, political director, Atlantic Media, and his wife, Eileen McMenamin, communications director, Bipartisan Policy Center, at their house over the weekend.
Things of this nature always bring out the D.C. boldfaces. Mainly for two (or three) reasons:
1. They go to yours to ensure you'll go to theirs. (This is what Shenan calls “The Funeral Rule.” Same thing applies.)
2. They want to be seen at the Premiere Place To Be that evening, whether it be a book party or an astonishingly boring black tie dinner. (Which really is the only reason why people go to those things.)
3. And the Dems really do come out in support of their people which explains why, say, Harry Reid was spotted at Paul Begala’s book party for his 900th book just a few months ago.
Now, on with the countdown: Bill Clinton sent a note to Greenberg which was read aloud at the party saying he was sorry he couldn't attend the party but as one of the people featured in the book, he wanted to congratulate Stan. Meanwhile, in case you're curious, Rosa DeLauro wasn't there because she had duties to attend to in Rome.
Seen at this lovely book party were all the normal DC Cool kids: Dan Balz, John Harwood, David Gregory, George Stephanopoulos, Jill Zuckman, EJ Dionne, Walter Isaacson, British Ambassador Sir Nigel and Lady Sheinwald, Bob Barnett, Bill Burton, Erik Smith, Dan Pfeiffer, Sarah Feinberg, Sean Smith, Ceci Connelly, Manuel Roigfranzia, Janet Hook, Will Marshall, Harold Meyerson, Jessica Yellin, David Chalian, Linda Roth, Suzanne Clark, Bob Boorstin, Susan McCue, Nora McAlvanah, Doyle McManus, Laura Quinn & Mike Duffy, and of course Greenberg & his daughters Anna and Katherine.

“Read somewhere that her husband (yes, there is a husband) is an executive at Monsanto.”
Monsanto is on Obama’s preferred monopoly” list.
To #14. So her husband is with Monsanto. She must be smoking some of their new chemicals.
Ah, better hair thru chemistry.
I wonder if she washes in TCE or Carbon Tet?
Actually I was going to write the same thing you did. In this case, you can judge a book by its cover. The outward appearance certainly reflects what’s on the inside.
