"Kukiko Mitani, whose husband, Stephen Pomerantz, owned the building at the time, tried to sell it for years, at one time asking $18 million. But when the recession hit, she sold it in July to a real estate investment firm, Soho Properties, for $4.85 million in cash, records show. One of the investors was the Cordoba Initiative, an interfaith group founded by Imam Feisal. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/09/nyregion/09mosque.html?pagewanted=2&_r=2&ref=nyregion"
Interesting. She still sold it really, really low, but they apparently paid in cash and maybe she needed the cash at that point. I wonder who else is part of “Soho Properties”?
This is pure BS. Thought, Action and Outcomes? What the hell were they thinking when they converted this building into a mosque/prayer center, temporary or not? Certainly not anything about "healing the relationship". Outcomes? Duh, what did they expect, planting a mosque at Ground Zero? They have no intention of healing anything. This is about domination and submission: "Education" and "Cultural Programs".
