(SALT LAKE CITY) – Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney is preparing a more prominent presence on the national scene with a new book coming out in the spring. His new book, “No Apology: The Case for America’s Greatness” comes out March 2 and Romney is kicking off a book tour at the Salt Palace March 13 with a book signing hosted by the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics. Kirk Jowers, a long-time Romney backer, is its director and says the book will offer ideas about turning around a nation some see in a decline. Jowers said he hopes to have 10,000 people at the book signing in March. At an earlier event, Romney was in Salt Lake City and was asked by reporters if he was running for the 2012 election. Tickets go on sale for the book signing this Thursday at 10am on MittRomneyUtah.

Romney undergoes a "pro-life conversion" in late 2004. A little over a half-year later--May 27, 2005, he says: "I am absolutely committed to my promise to maintain the status quo with regards to laws relating to abortion and choice."(So that’s moving in a “pro-life” direction? You've got an irrational definition of "pro-life"...kind of reminds me of liberals who talk out of both sides of their mouth!)

BTW, what was that "promise" Mitt was talking about in May 2005? Well, you see, in 2002 he said he was "devoted and...dedicated" to "honoring" his "word" to "sustain and support" Roe vs. Wade. [BTW, Mormons are commonly asked to "sustain" their "prophet" -- what I mean by that, is that when a Mormon tells you he's going all out to sustain something or someone, he's giving you the ultimate dedication.]

parents having the checklist option of "giving over" their offspring to "research"...

I've given plenty of rational reasons to oppose what he says as believable -- given that on at least three issues (embryonic stem cell research; abortion; and protecting "sexual orientation" in the workplace) he's changed his views three times on each issue between 2002-2007.
