A cold-hearted animal killer stabbed his mother-in-law's feline to death with an umbrella, and then told relatives: "It was only a cat, who cares?" lawyers said Friday.

Lordtyshon Garrett, 31, terrorized the 9-pound pussycat by poking and beating her, leaving the pet with injuries as severe as if she had fallen off a high-rise building or been hit by a car, animal experts said.

In a futile attempt to fight back, the 4-year-old feline, Madea, bit and scratched the plastic umbrella. The ASPCA found the cat's DNA on the umbrella and used it to pin the crime on Garrett, whose DNA also was found.

Which is better? A pit bull who, with a mind that will never grow beyond a 3-YO, has been trained to kill b/c that makes sense?

There are plenty of sweet pit bulls around. It's just that some of them are raised and trained by trash.

There are millions of guns that never kill innocent people. it's just that there are some that are owned by trash.

Bad people can make anything bad.

I am sorry you lost your beloved. What a great loss. You need not be angry in your grief as there are too many of us who know your sadness and give you our sympathies. Forgive this person and let it go.

I’m not for killing other people’s pets, but it is just an animal. At most, it is property that has been destroyed.

The cat was somebody's companion animal that was destroyed by a sociopath.

There were many people that knew he was guilty without a DNA Test.

Read the story, a DNA Test was a complete waste.

Then you post a link to a place that, according to Google, only supports liberal causes:

http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=change.org

But I guess a person that supports “Jobs for Change,” “Gay Rights,” “Middle East Peace,” “Animal Rights,” “Ending Homelessness,” and “Global Warming” from a liberal perspective fits you.

No, I just got whatever information was concrete about the link between animal cruelty and serial killers, that's all. I did not care about the actual content of the website. I'm not supporting any liberal ideology in any way, that is anathema to the conservative ideals espoused by FR.
