I don’t call it a hoax. A hoax is something that is laughed off and forgotten. This is a massive fraud and trillions of dollars have been staked on it.
I don’t think most FReepers quite understand how hard cap and trade will be to kill. States have invested taxpayer dollars in carbon trading, congressmen and major companies stand to make big bucks off it. When the climate change fraud collapses there will be a lot of people holding an empty bag. They aren’t going to let it go down without a fight.
I've wondered about that too. Texas is investing in CO2 capture. I saw an ad this afternoon by a company investing in the removal of CO2 from natural gas (might have been Atlantic Richfield). Has this foolishness hit some kind of critical mass that will make it nearly impossible to kill?

So your dead on with your statement about holding the bag. Let’s not forget about what was said on “Fox News Sunday” today when it was pointed out that the same organization, the UN, who ran the Oil For Food program will be in charge of the Climate Funding. More fraud on the way!
