I don’t think most FReepers quite understand how hard cap and trade will be to kill.

I've wondered about that too. Texas is investing in CO2 capture. I saw an ad this afternoon by a company investing in the removal of CO2 from natural gas (might have been Atlantic Richfield). Has this foolishness hit some kind of critical mass that will make it nearly impossible to kill?

Something I dug up and posted earlier today. There are already several states investing taxpayer money in the scam. If it collapses, they’ll be left holding an empty bag that’s supposed to have taxpayer money in it.

Unfortunately a collapse is what needs to happen. Its sucess is what we’ll never be able to recover from.
