The Florida Department of Children and Families, escorted by deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's Department, visited Tiger Woods' home near Windermere on Saturday, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.
Capt. Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff's Department confirmed to RadarOnline.com: "Our deputies met with members of the Department of Children and Families. But all details are being kept secret."
Nieves would neither confirm nor deny that the deputies and DCF officials went to Woods' house.
But a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com that the visit was in fact to Woods' home and that it occurred around mid day.
The source also tells RadarOnline.com that the deputy's car was a marked car, while the Florida Department of Children and Families' car was unmarked.
It's a shocking twist in a scandal that seemingly has no boundaries. The visit stems from the events leading up to Tiger's bizarre one-car crash right after Thanksgiving.
Reports from that incident indicated there was a heated altercation between Tiger and wife Elin over his cheating. Now, the presence of DCF at Tiger's house adds credence to those reports as it is protocol for DCF to investigate after an in-home suspected domestic violence incident.
Typically investigators from DCF would want to evaluate the safety of a home for children after a domestic violence incident.

Officials were at the home for roughly an hour, sources told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Woods two young children were at home during Thanksgiving when the golfer and Elin allegedly got into a heated argument. Elin and Tiger are parents to two-year-old daughter Sam and 10-month-old son Charlie.
Florida Highway Patrol initially investigated Woods' car crash and the golfer refused to talk to them when they tried to schedule follow-up interviews. But refusing to talk to DCF when it is conducting an official investigation can lead to severe repercussions by state law.
It is not known if Tiger was home when the investigators were there.
Friday night, the world's top golfer issued a statement on his Web site in which he announced he's taking an indefinite break from the sport he's dominated for more than a decade.
Woods' announcement came two weeks after he drove his Cadillac Escalade over a fire hydrant and into a neighbor's tree. Woods has not been seen in public since the crash, and in the days since, he has now been linked to more than 10 women accusing him of being unfaithful to his wife of five years.
It would not be unusual for it to take this long for DCF investigators to make a home visit stemming from an incident that took place at Thanksgiving, an expert familiar with the situation told RadarOnline.com.
Oh good grief. This is getting out of hand. But I guess it does tell us that yes, she did go after him with a golf club.
I realize they can’t treat him any differently but I would imagine those kids are well taken care of.
It seems weird to me that he’s okay with his wife taking his kids so far away. I would think he’d be within his rights to say they are American citizens and she shouldn’t be able to take them to a different county. It’s not like he can pop over to Sweden and see them every other weekend and once during the week.
Apparently you’re not allowed to fight in front of your children in Florida. Now, I do understand it was more than just a “fight” but good grief, it was one incident.
I’m glad they’ve completed their investigation and decided one of the richest guys in the world is able to take care of his kids and they won’t have to be removed to list in a foster home. Sheesh.

Many of the rich and famous live outside the country for mainly privacy reasons. Easier to move around as well.
With Elin here...even if she konked him with his golf club. I suspect she was caught by surprise and from what I read about her, she is devastated. If you listen to the responses of he who introduced her to Tiger (another golfer -and he is mad), you get the feeling that she was a decent person (even if a model) and was taken by surprise.
Do they think he is a child molester? His poor wife and kids. Steroid users are often child molesters too.

Caddy Stevie Williams admits Tiger has a problem? The lying thug caddy. He said he knew nothing. Waht a POS he is. Both of them should be banned. Stevie called Mickelson a “prick” and other nasty name. Golf and the PGA need to take out the garbage.
He is a substance abuser, serial adulterer and possibly a child molester. He also broke the law hiring prostitue. Poor Johns get arrest every day doing what he did regularly.

If they didnt go out there after a possible domestic violence incident and public statements that a separation was ensuing, they’d be accused of giving the rich peeps preferential treatment.
So, they go out there and get criticized for it anyway. They couldnt win in this situation, so they did what they had to do as part of their job duties.
My heart goes out for Mrs. Woods and the children and ... they WILL survive.
Is this the same Department of Children and Families that has ignored scores of horrific child abuse cases and now wants to be in the spotlight harassing the Woods family?

As for as I can see, you have NO RIGHT to conjecture such things in a world wide venue - gossip over your back fence - but keep it there.
Tiger really should have thought about his family surviving BEFORE sleeping with all those women and risking his wife’s life with STDs, etc.
