This outrageous spending, with any luck, will be the only legacy of the rats that will last since our kids will be paying for it forever. The rest hopeful can be killed off a little at at time.

Just when you have made a solid case for voter imposed penalties, one Republican always jumps out above the pack to say, “Oh, it’s okay. No big deal. We can work something out. They’re not really bad people you know.”

It’s whack-a-mole time!

Oh yes, they really are bad people, and yes we know.

As far as I am concerned, these Republican apologists for Democrat intransigence are even worse than the Democrats, because they short-circuit the remedy. They enable evil.

This guy should be recalled immediately, if not sooner. ;-)

“ways to reduce long-term debt.”

This man is more senile than Robert Byrd.

Well I AM not going to let them off, and Mr. Gregg, I suspect will find himself looking for a new job sooner, if he continues this.

Yeah, Gregg, you go ahead and let 'em off the hook.

But we're keeping them on the hook, and adding you to the hook as well, as long as we and our children and grand children are on the hook FOR ALL THE DEBT YOU'VE SADDLED US WITH!

Well, let's form another useless commission to study how to reduce our debt. That's what my wife and I do all the time when we want to reduce our debt.

This is just another RINO Republican looking for any excuse to spend. He should be kicked out.

Appointing “commissions”, or “study groups”, or “blue ribbon panels” is nothing more than cowardice. They serve no other purpose than providing political cover. Most of the time they produce nothing but vaporware. On the odd chance that a “commission”might come up with a good idea, it still has to be voted on and implemented, and the chances of that in the current political climate are next to nothing.

Exactly. Theoretically, a commission could focus enough attention on the debt to stir the public to force action. In practice, it would be like a junkie writing a plan to quit.

A “commission”?
God help us if we are depending on scumbags like this guy to provide a Senate firewall against Ubama and the rats’ agenda to turn America into a Euro-style socialist welfare state.

A “commission”???
