fails to address "hide the decline, " among other things ( can't be sure how Inquirer edited to fit their space, however)

How many AP reporters covered Tiger Woods for years, and never saw anything out-of-bounds?

This AP article should be entitled:

Five (highly qualified, I'm sure) AP reporters for 1000's of scientific emails versus how many AP "fact-checkers" for a single book by Sarah Palin?
The glass cover of my BS meter just shattered...

Whew! I’m relieved that AP reporters have verified that there is no data missing. Maybe they can also sign the petition claiming to be scientists that have found man caused global warming, er, I mean, climate change to be true.

He should read the Daily Mail Special Investigation piece, where the context is examined carefully. It is more damning than sans context.

That’s just what we need - - reporters fact checking science.
Actually the only people qualified to factcheck this stuff would be statisticians and physicists. Statisticians know what programs and charts and graphs should be applied and how they are misapplied. Physicists are supposed to know all about laws of nature and math.
