Here's some fresh (hour old) info from the Houston Chronicle. A recent Rice University opinion poll had Parker up 13 points. I think Parker is in trouble given that she only had a 500 vote lead in the early voting.

The poll, commissioned by television station KHOU and radio station KUHF, is based on telephone interviews earlier this week with 442 registered voters in Houston.
