LONDON E-mails stolen from climate scientists show they stonewalled skeptics and discussed hiding data but the messages don't support claims that the science of global warming was faked, according to an exhaustive review by The Associated Press.
The 1,073 e-mails examined by the AP show that scientists harbored private doubts, however slight and fleeting, even as they told the world they were certain about climate change. However, the exchanges don't undercut the vast body of evidence showing the world is warming because of man-made greenhouse gas emissions.
The scientists were keenly aware of how their work would be viewed and used, and, just like politicians, went to great pains to shape their message. Sometimes, they sounded more like schoolyard taunts than scientific tenets.

Lipstick on a pig.
Selective Reporting. Journalism’s greatest sin.
I’d think the same thing if all I did was read the emails.
The proof is in the codes.
There was an article called “Revenge of the Nerds”. The coders are still working with the actual Fortran and ADL (?) codes and they are getting worse and worse.
The MSM keeps talking about the emails. It’s the data that is the proof in the pudding.
bump
Calling the Tooth Fairy!!!!!
The AP reporters are scientists too...I guess.
An exhaustive review by the eco-activists/environmental reporter no doubt.
I’ve read more exhaustive reviews over at wattsupwiththat and climateaudit, their silly appeal to authority will not work, that’s an overly-abused tactic by the AGW cult.
You beat me to it. Yup, Fake but Accurate...
Does this surprise anyone? AP for God’s sake...these are the propagandists after all.
Hah, me too...lol
Yep. Most media bias is not in how they report, it is in what they choose to report - and NOT report.
Anyone that has studied the leaked documents knows, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that this story is baloney and not worth the paper it is written on or the electrons used to receive it.
uuhhhh huhhhhh..
So the chatter between the collectors and processors of the data state that their findings don’t support the theory and they should alter the processed data to prove their point and destroy the original data so nobody finds out..
Yea, nothing to see here lemmings, move along
The article is written by Seth Borenstein who is a notorious ‘’warmer’ with no journalistic integrity to offset his statist agenda. What else would you expect from Associated Press?
I can't read past this...
AP bias.
“The 1,073 e-mails examined by the AP show that scientists harbored private doubts...”
I thought the debate was over? What’s this about “private” doubts? Now I don’t believe any of this crap (never did)
Still little significant sunspot activity: www.spaceweather.com
There is finally one real sunspot, and they’ve decided this means cycle 24 has actually started. If so, we might actually get a summer this year. If it’s a blip, we may not.
Those who follow this are utterly unsurprised by the cold blast we are getting right now. It’s going to be a long, cold, nasty winter. And we are already assured of a late spring and cool wet summer.
APL, maybe? That would be a horror.
