Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (-16!)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | December 12, 2009 | Rasmussen

Posted on 12/12/2009 6:34:23 AM PST by Scanian

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16. That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President (see trends).

The 25% who Strongly Approve matches the lowest level of enthusiasm yet recorded. That’s partly the result of declining enthusiasm among Democrats. While Democrats continue to offer their approval, just 43% Strongly Approve.

Among all voters, 36% now believe that the president is doing a good or an excellent job handling the economy while 45% rate his performance in this area as poor. Seventy-one percent (71%) of Democrats say he’s doing a good or excellent job on the economy while 74% of Republicans say poor. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 52% give the President poor marks when it comes to the economy.

On national security matters, 39% rate the president’s performance as good or excellent while 36% say poor. Most voters nationwide lack confidence that NATO will do its part to help in Afghanistan. The President’s new plan for Afghanistan draws mixed reviews from voters.

Check out our review of the week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.”

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.

I do not think the “Strongly Approve - Strongly Disapprove” +/- daily number is meaningful”

Of course it is.
The “Strongly Approve” are the heart and soul of the 0bozo supporters, the “can never say die”, the wild eyed 0bozo Koole-Aide drinkers who will go down in the Hitler bunker with 0bozo, even if he is caught plotting with Iran against America.
They are also the fanatics who form his core supporters and will go out in freezing weather to go organize and campaign for him.
Meanwhile, the Strongly Disapprove are the voters who are implacably opposed to the Kenyan, and will do whatever it takes to bring this usurper down.
0bozo is in deep trouble when his Strongly Approve/ Strongly Disapprove is at -16.
You just can't spin it.

If I see a huge uptick after passage of DeathCare or some other international disaster, I won't be surprised”

I would.
0bamacare is the most hated (by the American people) piece of legalization I have seen in this country for DECADES.
If the suicidal Democratic Party congressmen pass that abomination, they are finished.
And so is 0bama.

We’ve succeeded in rallying the entire nation against them, and those numbers are worsening. 11/2010 will be the day of RECKONING for all of this RAT rubbish.

Amen to that! Everyone keep up the fight! I just can't imagine the big 5 will pass, certainly not without a huge fight!

They’re going to have to fit that errant 13% of the media with cement boots and dump them in the East River. ;)

Someone did an overlay a few days back - Hussein was tracking with Reagan at this time-point in office.

There will be a big anti-Obamacare rally in DC on the 15th, if you’d care to make the trip.

Just received this from Laura Ingraham: Momentum Building for Code Red Rally

It's time we all stop pretending that what is happening with this ObamaCare debate is about "helping the uninsured" or "fixing the healthcare system" or "giving the people what they want." It's about none of those things. Its about amassing as much power in a central government as humanly possible. It's about wealth redistribution. It's social engineering at its absolute worst.

The American people must take this political system back from those who have hijacked it in one of the most abhorrent power grabs that we the voters have ever seen. It's the holiday season so the Democrats are counting on you to be otherwise occupied and too busy to stand against their massive expansion of government. Let them underestimate us again just as they did last summer. Let these unrepresentative politicians proceed with their legislative chicanery and self-righteous grandstanding. We can expose them and confront them in the classic American spirit--a public gathering on their doorstep. On December 15th at 1:30pm, we will remind Pelosi, Reid, Schumer et al. that they work for us and not the other way around. We will demand that they follow the will of the people, not dismiss and degrade it by putting future generations into a deficit dungeon. We will put every politician who supports this travesty on notice: enjoy your remaining time in the U.S. Capitol because we're coming for your seat.

The American people will not forget those who turned their backs on us and voted for a bill that they hadn't read and which will do nothing but ensure that one of the best healthcare systems in the world is compromised.

All of you who can go, let's FReep this Rally!

“simply for ONE reason, and its in their name.”
++++++++++++++

That’s sad. I hope we can see some growing up and maturing done in this country so we can address our humongous problems. I’m half Italian, but I don’t vote for every Italian politician that comes along...we need good (conservative) leaders regardless of race!

I pray everyday that the Good Lord will deliver us from this evil trap.
++++++++++++++++

This is vital and important. Once the good Lord brings us off our knees we should fax, call and attend Tea Parties, and rally other conservatives to get involved in the local Republican caucuses. God bless you as you seek His face! James 4:2 and 3 instructs us, “you do not have, because you do not ask...When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”

We need to ask God right now for our nation. We need to ask with right motives.

Agreed. But my comments were confined to the most recent 30 days.

Fair enough - you did say a month. But that 44 point reversal is still staggering!

imagine if the media actually did their job and reported on the likes of Jennings, etc

His numbers would be about 25, of course still getting 95% of the black community , crap we could see bozo hitting an old lady while shouting you white Bi### and then shooting the cops dead and they still would vote for him.

Of course there will always be the cult like idiots who will neevr vote against him at all.

It will hit -20 by the end of January.

Well, that feels good, but the Dems are still going to pass the "Kill the Republic" socialized medicine bill...thank you Mitch [worthless, spineless, traitorous scum] McConnell.

And Hussein will still be (illegally) in office at 10% approval, and issuing unconstitutional executive orders that the courts will uphold.

2012??? So far my money is going to Palin...not to the NRC.
+++++++++++++++

Right! Just bought two copies of Going Rogue - two more votes and more money into the conservative juggernaut’s coffers...we’ll see if others rise up, but Sarah’s on a good run already!

Palin’s book has been number 1 on the NYT Best seller non-fiction list for 3 weeks. Anybody know how many books she’s sold?
