these public prayers on FR annoy me. If these people are so keeping to the bible maybe they should read Matthew 6:6.

“pray for each other” doesn’t supercede 6;6 where Jesus says pray in private. You can pray in private for each other. But i guess it’s better if you show how pious you are in front of everyone. I have no real problem with it except that a whole lot of people claim to follow the scripture to the letter.

What you just quoted sounds more like Matthew 5:24 or James 5:16 or so.
