There is no conflict between Science and my faith.
Those who assume that science and faith are mutually exclusive are the ones who fail to see clearly.

Not even sure why you sent this reply. I wasn’t even in on the CREVO fight here.

He is just upset because I called him hostile and listed posts on THIS thread, that I considered hostile, to support my claim.
So he goes all “three mile island” on me and starts with the threats to keep track of my posts.

It may come to that. Let’s hope it doesn’t. On thing I’ve learned over my 55 years. Left wingers are cowards.

Foxworthy said, "If you consider a family reunion a good place to pick up girls....you might be a redneck."
Just making fun of the language in your post, I'm not *really* accusing you of such.
Cheers!

I'm a long time $/day donor to Free Republic.
Why? Because I agree with Jim's basic core, and I want my sons and grand children to have the opportunities I have had in my life.
Freepers, who agree with Jim should be regular monthly donors to keep this great conservative force alive to continue to be a huge problem for liberals.
"Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site... or so they say... and they might even be right.
"We don't go for any of that godless left-wing big government socialist malarkey. And we do put our faith and trust in God, not government. We are pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Country and pro-Liberty."
"We do not believe that government or science knows what's best for us or our children. We will make our own decisions thank you very much." Jim, you might want to add the word Bad to Science so your statement says Bad Science.

Every day we wake up to a new horror. And the number one coward is Obama, who has a vast web of criminals, union thugs and morons to do his dirty work for him. I say we won’t last 3 more years of criminal thuggery. It’s going to be him or us, and that will mean us.

I passed your litmus test
No you didn't, because I don't have one. Just posted what I believe to be true. If you notice, I replied to someone that DIDN'T include those denominations as Christians.
Having a personal relationship w/God is what Christianity is all about - so how do I know what any person does - thus, IMO, no litmus test. Other than, we will know them by their fruits. We are judged by our heart, (no one can fool God), so being affiliated with the oldest or youngest church means nothing.
Besides, it's all about what Jesus did at The Cross - and reading and hearing more about some who 'consider' themselves Christians - they have doubts about Jesus.
I don't think we need to be "considered" Christians, by you or anyone else.
Yet, you made it a point to do just that - and how old your church is as proof. I am a Christian and I am considered a Christian. Being thin-skinned is about it is not a fruit, IMO.
Merry Christmas.

Are you serious? There are fundamentals in every school of thought, not just religion!!!
There are constitutionalists who are fundamentalists!!!
There are scientist who are fundamentalists!!!
There are capitalists and communists who are fundamentalists!!!
And even within religion there are far more than just christian fundamentalists who write and read books about fundamentalism!!! Muslim fundamentalists, Hindu fundamentalists, Scientology fundamentalists, Jewish fundamentalists, etc., etc., etc...
Your scope of fundamentalism is far too narrow and quite prejudicial if you ask me. So don't stick a book by some christian fundamentalists in my face with a hyperlink and expect me to assume that you are correct and that fundamentalism is a bad thing for FR to be connected with just because somebody wrote a book about christian fundamentalism and that turns you off!!!
And now, back to the FRiendly commentary about a happy FR service that we all know and love...
