How did you ever go from that to The Truth? With man, this is impossible; but with GOD, ALL things are possible!
Praise His Holy Name!

Thus the human gestation period was lengthened, whereas Adam and Eve had five children on the day they were created. Where is THIS recorded?

"Look at the Catechism again."I did and I understand where you are coming from. I just don't agree. Neither do many in the Vatican.
Pax Vobiscum.

Look I have no real interest in trying to convince you about evolution, but understand I will defend my beliefs when they are incorrectly criticized. I understand your position. At least you recognize they are BELIEFs and not FACTS.
If Evolution were true, then, in all of these stable populations we see around us, there'd be various things that are not needed for the present specie to continue to exist, but are found anyway. IF that new characteristic is to be continued onward into the next generation, would it NOT have started with one individual?

The theory of evolution does revolve around single common ancestry, so you example doesn't make your point. Then what DOES it revolve around?

"Natural Law does not believe that the Bible is true,"Here is what I believe. Sift through it to find a few things you contest and then accuse me of heresy again. It still makes you both petty and false.

I do not, will not subscribe to any mans teaching that differs from what the words in the Bible say. Pope or not, from the Vatican or not. I am not petty, you make the claim that Bible is FALSE, not I.

1703 Endowed with “a spiritual and immortal” soul,5 the human person is “the only creature on earth that God has willed for its own sake.”6
The word ‘endowed’, does this described an evolutionary ‘leap’ that gave man something divine? By its very definition, something that is endowed comes from something. We were endowed, at our Creation (not at some point in our evolution) with our spiritual and immortal soul.
So, where in the evolutionary ladder of things did the soul appear? Neanderthal? Ardi? The Lemur? At what point, in your version of Gods evolutionary plan, did man evolve enough to be endowed?
Really, Natural Law, is man divine or just an accident in the giant dice game of the cosmos?
‘spiritual and immortal’, are these attributes evolutionary? Or perhaps our Creator ‘endowed’ us with them

You’re right: Most in the Vatican don’t agree.

123 Christians venerate the Old Testament as true Word of God.
True Word. Hmmm, except the parts we don’t believe.
