Michelle Duggar, who was hospitalized last week with gallstone issues, gave birth to her 19th child with husband Jim Bob Duggar. The couple, who stars on TLCs 18 Kids and Counting, welcomed daughter Josie Brooklyn at 6:27 p.m. Thursday at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Josie weighed in at 1 lb., 6 oz and was several months early. She was due in the spring.
A rep for TLC said Michelle was taken to the OR for an emergency C-section. Josie is in stable condition in the NICU. No other details were available. The most important thing right now is for mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery, the TLC rep says.
Michelle, 42, was rushed to the hospital last weekend. In a video message from her hospital room earlier this week, Michelle and Jim Bob said the baby was going great.
The Duggar family has not commented.

I hope they’re okay but they might really consider at least practicing NFP to give that woman’s body a break! I’m all for doing it God’s way but JimBob could back off once in a while and give her a rest!!

My now 14 year old son spent 2 months in the NICU unit here in Colorado. I saw alot of teeny ones there, she's in for a long hospital stay. We went back later for reunions and saw many under 3 unders who survived without any serious effects. My little guy is a harlequin baby, he turns bright red and sweaty, but only on 1 side of his body when he gets overheated, actually it's pretty cool to watch. I pray for her and her family.

Prayers for the family and the baby. At least the baby will never have to be alone at the NICU. There are enough people in the family that someone can be there all the time. :)

O I hadn’t even thought of that, what a blessing!! I know how heartwrenching it was for all us moms to have to leave our little ones there at night to tend to the rest of our families.
