OSLO President Barack Obama's decision to break with tradition and not follow the lead of past Nobel Peace Prize winners bewildered some Norwegians. Others thought he was being impolite.
Obama had quite a whirlwind day Thursday he signed the Nobel guest book, huddled with Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, met with King Harald V and Queen Sonja, and delivered an acceptance speech after he was formally presented with the prize. He also was joining the king and queen at an evening banquet.

You’d think they’d be happy to have him gone.
I sure would.
To: shredderman

The Norskis have no one to blame but themselves. They wet their panties over Obama and gave the jerk a prize he did nothing to earn. The laugh is on them. Btw, who gives a rat's arse about Norway?
To: shredderman
I almost rolled on the floor in laughter last night when someone reported that the White House was spinning that the two sitting Presidents to win the award (Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson) hadn’t even gone to accept the award! Wilson won in 1916 (Teddy was earlier) when transportation and communication were, shall we say, just a tad more difficult! WH idiots!

Wilson won it in 1919. He spent most of the first half of 1919 in Europe, but by December he had suffered a stroke and wouldn’t have been in any condition to go to the Norwegian embassy in Washington, DC, let alone to Norway.
To: shredderman
I agree with Rush... Obama just doesn’t like white Europeans.

That is something that could be straight out of the Onion. Like Wilson is going to cross the Atlantic with U-Boats patrolling the approaches into the Biritsh Isles.

Screw these Nordic dicks.
They're like the goofy teenage president of Obama's fan club, and now they're all miffed because he wasn't sufficiently awed by the dopey scrapbook they gave him.
Grow up, you suckass clowns.

I have to admit that Scandinavian girls are beautiful. If Norway fell into the sea, at least we have Sweden and Denmark.
