Marc Lamont Hill - Back At Fox? (A man who looks up to cop-killers is back on O'Reilly)

He's ba-aaack. Or at least, he seems to be.

Bill O'Reilly's impact segment on tonight's edition of "The O'Reilly Factor" featured a discussion about providing health care for illegal immigrants between O'Reilly and none other than Marc Lamont Hill. As I noted on October 16, Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media (AIM) reported Fox News had fired Marc Lamont Hill. Hill later confirmed this to The Huffington Post.

The firing occurred after David Horowitz revealed Hill's admiration of Assata Shakur, a cop-killer who fled for refuge to Castro's Cuba. Kincaid then devoted a number of articles to Hill's heroes, including Louis Farrakhan, Mumia Abu Jamal, and Fidel Castro.

If people who keep abortion, even late-term abortion legal are able to walk the halls of our nation's capital without fear than so should Marc Lamont Hill be able to stay on Fox News. First off, I don't believe he wants police officers to be killed--he probably just has a warped (and understandable skepticism) about the unfair treatment of minorities by our justice system. Secondly, I believe that it undermines the liberal media more for Fox to maintain the appearance of being "fair and balanced." Thirdly, I've noticed that being on Fox tends to have a *moderating effect* on liberals once they are faced with the logic of the people they debate against. Think Juan Williams or even Greta and Geraldo, who were far more liberal before they became hosts on Fox. Lamont Hill needs to stay on Fox to get educated and de-program from his indoctrination.
