"In November, the average rate of Arctic sea ice growth slightly exceeded the 1979 to 2000 average growth rate for the month."
---snip---
"420,000 square kilometers (160,000 square miles) above the record low for the month, which occurred in November 2006. In general, the ice edge is now at or slightly beyond its average location, with two notable exceptions: Hudson Bay and the Barents Sea."

If 1/3 of the arctic ice cover is gone and sea lanes are now almost wide open...then how do they explain "In general, the ice edge is now at or slightly beyond its average location".

This is all propaganda by right-wing-racist naysayers who enjoy seeing poor people in Bangladesh get flooded out by the seas which are expected to rise 1000’s of feet in the next month if we don’t pass cap-and-trade NOW.

The MSM will explain it this way:
It’s a temporary short term phenomenom. El Nino is causing the Northern Hemisphere to be colder than normal this year. If it wasn’t for global warming, the November ice growth would have been even greater.

There’s that damn word....average...Now, we all know how you get an “average”, right?? You keep some numbers that look good, throw out some that look bad, keep some because you think they’re more truerer, throw some out because they mess up the answer....THEN....you toss all the numbers in a fish bowl....and pick the one up your sleeve.

Outside the November Indian Summer, it is already looking like this winter will be worse then last. Here is the current snow map without todays and tomorrows midwest blizzard. Last year on this date follows.

I'm holed up here in a motel in Erick, OK, on my drive to CA, with the car, the parking lot, and the Interstate on-ramps coated with almost a quarter inch of ice. Traffic on the Interstate moving slowly. Saw an accident on the Interstate just near the motel between a semi and a pickup truck. The pickup spun around several times on the icy road. The semi couldn't stop. Ambulance later took the pickup driver away. I don't have any details.
Hope they get the roads cleared tomorrow so I can get on my way again. Tell me about Globull Warming. I could use some.

From sidney,...I think it's summer down under...do you know Fred?
It's 32 C down there,...I don't think ice is a problem at that temp....and I am stranded on the Southern California Beach and it isn't real warm either.... will be under 40 F tonight,...chilly the last few days with rain yesterday.
But I don't miss those ice storms back in my home country which is just north of where you are.

It’s cold on the Beach tonight!
