Under socialism there is no pretense of private ownership. Under fascism, business is “privately owned” but does as government demands....or else.

It’s weird to think that someone who hates his country - its image, and what it stands for, could be a good fascist, an uber-nationalist, whipping up the populace into a frenzied support. But maybe that isn’t the point.
