Some parishioners in the Church of Obama discovered last week that their spiritual leader is a false prophet.

I guess each generation has to learn never trust a politician for anything and dont count on them to do what they say. The lie, cheat and steal as a career mode.
Correction: this is from the Washington Post, not the New York Times.
Are they still running around in circles in their drunken, doped up stupor yelling “Change! Change!”? LOL!!
Idiots.
In the meantime, enjoy your “change” from a super power to a 3rd world Marxist country.

It’s so dam funny to me. Some of my friends, true believers in Obama, criticized me because I would not support him. Now many of them and others like them are finding out Obama isn’t the savior they thought he would be. It’s all I could do to refrain from saying, “I told you so.”
I guess George Bush’s presidency is looking better and better.
Last year I took a night class with about a dozen people. The week before Election Day half the class disappeared to "campaign" for Obama. I'm imagining what those earnest Obamabots are thinking now.

Please, don’t refrain.
And tell everyone else you know too.

Please, don’t refrain.
And tell everyone else you know too.
Around September some friends were over and said they would vote for Obama. I couldn't believe it, it was like the invasion of the body snatchers.
So I told them: "I'm going to say this now so I won't have to say it 18 months from now: I TOLD YOU SO!"
I've been biting my tongue ever since.
I’m still waiting for apologies from my “friends” who accused me of being racist and uncaring about “the poor,” plus called me a few names I won’t repeat here, just because I wouldn’t go along with their fervent worship of this guy. I guess I’ll be waiting for a long time.
This is so funny that Leftist find Obama not Left enough!
Regarding those ‘friends’, replace them. I have discovered, much to my extreme discomfort, that we are in a war between collectivists and individualists.
The two positions are not reconcilable, so I said ‘Bye’ and went on.
Americans should not have as close friends those whose beliefs are antithetical to the Constitution.
“Regarding those friends, replace them.”
Yep. As of now, everyone is on my S-list except for Sarah Palin and her supporters, and those still on the fence who I am working on converting.
Its all I could do to refrain from saying, I told you so.
It’s gracious of you not to utter those words. However, maybe a comment such as “Well, we’re seeing that elections have consequences,” or “A little homework on the candidate might be a good idea in the next election” might temper your zinger a little bit. I also like to add little takeaway tidbits such as, “A community organizer with literally a few months in the Senate, no executive experience doing ANYTHING, is running us into the ground.”
Mark my words: Before the next election you will have trouble finding anyone who will admit to voting for Obama.
What’s with the anti-Romney stuff at the beginning of the thread? Although I think Romney was a fool to cozy up to the MA Dems on Romney-care (and if he wants any career at all, he should say “I was wrong,” instead of trying to defend it and say what a success it is), he does have way more understanding of business than virtually any candidate out there at the moment. He and Palin are the only ones who have actually created jobs, to my knowledge. If this is something from the Mormon-hating Huckabee crowd, let’s agree that, though Huckabee is socially conservative, he is a big-spending, big government, liberal Republican.
That’s the same thing conservatives have been saying all along and we just get accused of being racists. So, to those liberals who have just admitted and declared they are racists...welcome to the real world...glad you woke up.
Obama is very radical himself, and he’s realizing that he’s in charge and not his advisers. To Obama, it’s all about Obama; to them, it was all about their theories of government, economy, or whatever.
Also, don’t think that just because the left is huffing and puffing, they’re really dissatisfied. Anybody with a lick of common sense sees that a phased in “surge” (which is NOT a surge) followed immediately by withdrawal is simply a strategy for doing nothing. Obama is afraid that the military and perhaps even the press will be upset with an imediate withdrawal, so he’s doing the same thing but dragging it out. The left realizes this, and ever since they discovered the fact that the approval of the extreme left translates into more disapproval from everybody else, they’ve realized that they’ve got to dissumulate a bit.
But I do think that Obama is beginning to set off on his own program now. The radical left created him, but he has escaped and he’s on the loose. This could be similar to some of the showdowns between the Leninists and the Trotskyites. But Joe Stalin is going to crush them all.
I saw a bumper sticker today that said: “ADMIT IT! You don’t know why you voted for Obama.”
