High marks for Afganistan...compared to Obama’s Rasmussen numbers on the same point? Just go bankrupt already, CNN.

So Bush's low approval ratings were a result of people on the right blaming him for not being conservative enough, his position on amnesty, etc.

You think those pissed-off lefties are gonna vote for a republican or third party in '12? They may not even re-nominate bho but they aren't swinging to our side enough to matter. Count on it.
What I want to see is the independent voter jump ship on the demmies.

My thoughts exactly.

I don't think his plan in Afghanistan made sense to anybody. What brand of Kool-Aid was this author drinking to leap to that conclusion?

This poll devastates his Real Clear Politics average off all polls, since it was the last CNN poll that was artificially propping up his numbers above 50%. With this new poll he is barely hanging on to 49% average :)

ROFL

down down down! I can hear heads exploding over at DU as we speak !

LOL

Yes! Most definitely that was part of the lower ratings.

Well that little mantra lasted barely a week: now both the UN and NASA are in trouble, NASA for not complying with FOIA documents (i.e., a breach of law) and the UN launching it’s own “investigation/whitewash.” But still, it is NOT just an “East Anglia” thing.

There is a very high approval rating in my book and shows the ignorance of the American people.

The thing is, a lot of people are unhappy because he isn’t acting liberal ENOUGH for them. This isn’t exactly good for our cause.
++++++++++++++++

Mebbe. Except it may make bammy a lame duck NOW. That is a good thing for our cause. It’s much harder to get anything done when you’ve got all parts of the political spectrum questioning you - which is now the case for Alfred E. Obammy.

Yes.

But that was only part of it - he also ticked off people in the middle - really all parts of the spectrum. Bammy’s going to be way worse on this count. Face it he’s WAY worse than Bush in any case (of course.)

Some jerk from the progressive institute (or some such) came on Beck today and said, with a straight face, that none of this scandal matters, since this is isolated to the UK.
++++++++++++++++++

They’re very used to lying to people and having those lies believed. Not happenin’ these days.

Bush pushing to turn over our sovereignty to Mexico pretty much finished him for me. I am still bewildered over that one.

Then you get a little movement from the idiots in the middle, but they come and go with the tide.
++++++++++++++++

Gallup has the middle’s support for bammy down like 22 points in 6 months...that aint no little movement.

Doesn’t sound like a very scientific poll to me. The raw numbers are probably much much worse.
++++++++++++++++

Did CRU dump the raw numbers? Guffaw!

That said, on issue after issue, we’re starting to see capitulation from the 80% jubiliation that greeted the false messiah last Nov.

"The poll indicates that the biggest drop in approval comes from noncollege-educated white voters," said Keating Holland, CNN's polling director. "That's one indication among many that Obama's growing unpopularity may be more related to unemployment and the poor economy"

Lib NewsSpeak translation: "The poll indicates that ignorant white racists are turning on His Lordship and this may be because they are bitter about not having houses and jobs anymore."

Bush’s fault:

“That may currently be a reflection on George W. Bush rather than Obama,” Holland said. “Two-thirds say they blame the former president, not Obama, for the problems the U.S. currently faces...”
