In an embarrassing blunder, Gov. Charlie Crist mistakenly directed parents of uninsured children to call a toll-free sex line.
People calling the governor's office heard an on-hold recording of Crist promoting the toll-free Florida KidCare line. Except two numbers were transposed.

He has standing?
Almost every facet of government is run by incompetents. This is just a more visible instance. Nobody in govt can be bothered to double-check ANY of their work. It’s always the taxpayers digging out of the mess the incompetents create from their lack of caring or accountability.

Half of the WATS numbers must be porn lines, because EVERY time a number is misprinted, that’s where the callers wind up. It’s never a national discount house or a travel agency, its always porn.
Where I used to work our tech support number was 1-888, but if you dialed the same number as 1-800 it was an online store for sex toys.
The best part is they paid us $150,000 for our 1-888 number.
Too bad all politicians don’t do favors like this! I wonder how often he calls it.
These things happen too much to be accidents, IMO. Seems to happen in many states. We had one fairly recently in PA.

These things keep happening. It’s looking more and more like a bit of purposeful dyslexia.
But when you think about it, whoever does these deeds must have the porn numbers memorized to recognize similar, prankable numbers.
