If Sarah Palin’s nugatory understanding of everything from foreign affairs to economic matters doesn’t cause you concern, if her predilection to expand, exaggerate, or fudge the truth about herself and her past statements hasn’t yet convinced you that she is a lightweight prevaricator and doesn’t deserve your support, then this exchange with conservative talker Rusty Humphries should change your mind:

Those who live on the fringes of American politics usually don’t realize how wacky they truly are. For the last time: The state of Hawaii issued a statement confirming that Obama was born there, thus making him a U.S. citizen. Why is that so hard to accept? There are no “questions” left to answer except in the minds of simpletons and paranoid conspiracy freaks.

This writer is a genuine moron.

The public knows practically nothing about Obama. That is the issue!

The real story is the unprecedented lack of openness by our President in connection with his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption records.

If President Obama grew up poor what were his sources of funding? Who sponsored his community organizer job? What about his draft registration? Is there no controversy in that matter?

And there are many legitimate, unanswered questions in connection with his birth certificate. Why were there no hearings in connection with his satisfying the requirement to be a natural born citizen? We sure had hearings for McCain, who is clearly a natural born citizen. But we just had to have hearings on that matter for John McCain. Why not for Obama? There are questions of substance in connection with his satisfying that requirement IMO and in the opinion of many other voters in this country!

But I think the bigger problem is the LIES that are propogated daily to brainwash that public to make it "brain dead". The American MSM lied in the last election like never before IMO and I think this is the main reason Zero won.

Not that she did. She tweaked her enemies by saying everyone has a right to ask questions, then added the caveat of how she was pursued over Trig. It was pretty clever.

Hey! If it were I who was being asked for my birth certificate, I wouldn't just post a questionable jpeg image on my own website. I would authorize the municipality where I was born to provide certified copies of my original birth certificate to anyone willing to pay the municipality's fee for such a copy.

Dan Rather tried so hard to make Bush's military records an issue, he had them faked. The lib-state-run press didn't have any problem with that, did they? At least until the right raised enough hell about it.

In a Presidential Election, anything, and everything, can be an issue. Look at the last one - the left even lowered themselves to making a down syndrome baby an issue with Sarah, and tried to question McCain't citizenship because he was born in Panama...but, it was to American Parents in the Military, so that was a non-starter and nothing similar to obama's situation.

Yes, if I was running, I'd make the b.c. an issue, for sure. There are way too many questions about it and the coverup attempts regarding it. I think the American people need to see the proof about it, and not that half-baked crap he posted on the internet...the long form bc.

He has no other reason not to show it, and if it's legit, it will make a laughing stock out of all of us on the right, and everyone knows how the left loves to do that, don't we?
