Presidential Proclamation - Critical Infrastructure Protection Month

A PROCLAMATION

Critical infrastructure protection is an essential element of a resilient and secure nation. Critical infrastructure are the assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, so vital to the United States that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, national economic security, public health or safety. From water systems to computer networks, power grids to cellular phone towers, risks to critical infrastructure can result from a complex combination of threats and hazards, including terrorist attacks, accidents, and natural disasters. During Critical Infrastructure Protection Month, we pledge to work together to shelter our communities from the harm of uncertain threats.

My Administration is committed to ensuring our country's essential resources are safe and capable of recovering from disruptive incidents. The Department of Homeland Security is leading a coordinated national program to reduce risks and improve our national preparedness, timely response, and rapid recovery in the event of an attack, natural disaster, or other emergency. The Department, in collaboration with other Federal stakeholders, State, local, and tribal governments, and private sector partners, has developed the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) to establish a framework for securing our resources and maintaining their resilience from all hazards during an event or emergency.

During Critical Infrastructure Protection Month, we rededicate ourselves to safeguarding and strengthening our Nation's infrastructure. Additionally, members of the public and private sectors should work with their appropriate State, regional, and local authorities to engage in critical infrastructure protection activities being coordinated across the country. Americans can learn more about the NIPP and its partnership framework by visiting: www.dhs.gov/criticalinfrastructure.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim December 2009 as Critical Infrastructure Protection Month. I call upon the people of the United States to recognize the importance of partnering to protect our Nation's resources and to observe this month with appropriate events and training to enhance our national security and resilience.

Critical Infrastructure Protection Month?

...next month it will be multicolored gum ball preservation month. Anything to get people to look the other way and not notice how badly he's tanking

Many think the Obama’s were trying to get on Bravo’s Real Housewives of DC with this stunt. Bravo couldn’t bring the film crew into the Whitehouse, which is why the pictures with Obama, Emmanuel and Biden were taken and would be shown on an upcoming episode, showing these ‘powerful’ men, partying like rock stars.

Only it backfired, when a WP reporter quickly brought to the attention of the First Lady’s staff that they weren’t on the list as early as 7:35 in the evening. Hopefully these 2 will have to speak before the panel and admit it was for the show and the First Lady helped coordinate it via her surrogates, if that’s what happened.

Michelle Obama is already scheduled on Bravo’s Top Chef in January. Guess one reality show wasn’t enough for the Obama’s. This is just part of their branding, being in perpetual campaign mode.

And now 3 SS personnel have lost their jobs, when in reality Michelle Obama knew early in the evening that the so called ‘crashers’ were at the party and did nothing other than make sure they had they photo-op which would be featured on an upcoming episode. Bravo filmed the female crasher throughout the day as she was getting ready at the salon for hours, knowing they were going to feature an episode with the Obama’s.

If it can be established through said couple beyond a a reasonable doubt that very higher-ups in the White House (uh, one of our critical federal infrastructures to be protected) did something wrong on Gate-Crash/SS-Blame, and are making others suffer and fall on their swords, then I would say, threaten the Salahi's, in separate rooms, with hard time up to six months as called for by the D.C. criminal code, but offer to cut a deal (immunity from prosecution) in exchange for cooperation in naming the White House officials involved in their escapade--even if it goes all the way up to Michelle Obama. Every person has their price. Oh sure, those two interlopers may love the Obama's or even donated to their campaign and have all those tony D.C/Georgetown connections, but that love will stop believe me with either facing the prospect of a jail facility in Washington, D.C.
