After the absolutely disgusting way the media has treated Palin and her family since she went national, do you think they will give a fair and accurate reporting on her comments? Or will they twist them around to make her into come sort of birther right wing nut job with a hint of “we told you so”

The lame media won't have the few short months as they did before an election to have an effect if they are not straight up. It will be hard for them to fool the public. It's a long ways to 2012. Palin will have the time to take them apart.

I had the same thoughts and posted earlier. The media will be too afraid to mention Sarah's comments as it would just open up the flood gales for more comments from Sarah and others on the birth certificate issue.
Cue the Obama “crisis” creators!
This is going to be pretty darn predictable, anytime anyone gets too close to bringing up Obamas past there goes out a signal awakening his agents at large.

I think the public, rightfully, is still making it an issue. I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bother to make it an issue ’cause I think there are enough members of the electorate who still want answers.
Do you think it’s a fair question to be looking at?
I think it’s a fair question, just like I think past associations and past voting record — all of that is fair game. You know, I’ve got to tell you, too: I think our campaign, the McCain/Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area. We didn’t call out Obama and some of his associates on their records and what their beliefs were and perhaps what their future plans were. And I don’t think that that was fair to voters to not have done our jobs as candidates and as a campaign to bring to light a lot of the things that now we’re seeing made manifest in the administration.
I mean, truly, if your past is fair game and your kids are fair game, certainly Obama’s past should be. I mean, we want to treat men and women equally, right?
Hey, you know, that’s a great point, in that weird conspiracy-theory freaky thing that people talk about that Trig isn’t my real son. And a lot of people say, “Well you need to produce his birth certificate! You need to prove that he’s your kid!” Which we have done. But yeah, so maybe we could reverse that and use the same [unintelligible]-type thinking on them.
I’m still waiting for the Canada Free Press to report on who the media personality is who had his career, life and families life threatened if he/she brought up the b/c issue.
The media does talk about it but with few exceptions (Lou Dobbs being one) it’s usually in the vein of “racist, right-wing nutcases going after Obama because he’s black”.
Combine that with how in general the media treats Palin ad it should be obvious why I’m sure the MSM will attack her over this and most likely twist her words/intent to further try to damage her.
Palin has been able to pull a few miracles these last two years, maybe this is one of them; forcing the media to start questioning Obama and the administration while demanding full disclosure.
Maddow needs rabies shots. Maybe she bit Olbermann causing him to become even more delusional.
They’ll weigh the pros and cons.
If they feel they can cover the story without hurting Obama while making Palin look bad they’ll go for it.
If they believe Palin has harmed Obama enough already and this will do even more they won’t touch it.
The lure to attack Palin is strong causing many in the MSM to think irrationally.
What would be the best scenario is they do report on it causing Palin supporters who do not even know there is a problem start asking questions.

I loved that comment too! Just let the leftist media jump on Sarah. She is Sarah Gone Rogue now, not the Sarah told to keep her mouth shut or told what to say and not to say! She will rightfully take the media apart every chance she gets and she will do it with such class!

Well, we know the media isn’t fair, especially when it comes to Palin.
While I’m concerned the MSM will use this as another line of attack against her, I also know she is on of the few people who could do serious damage to Obama by bringing up the issue.
