Hahaha, true.

[Gore]’s never let the truth get in his way before

I don't think it'll just be truth in this pass. It's potentially hefty lawsuits he'll have to contend with, from here on out. He could minimize damages if he would change his tune after these recent disclosures, but it would only make the house of cards come down that much more quickly if he changed his tune on AGW. Keeping his mouth shut for now is his best strategy. If he conceded the fraudulent science outright, his followers in government and "science" might be inclined to burn him for his complicity. That result would cost him in a really big way.

Truth is, of course, that he's been at the pinnacle of pushing for AGW more than anyone else. He obviously has an ignorance card to be played at the moment, but may not be able to play it in the future if he screws up now with the wrong tactics. There may not be a way to play his cards honestly to avoid losing more than everything he has. Expect further deception. His companies' billions in valuation on paper is poised to be fed into the fire, while he's surely racked up some very tangible expenses in preparation for his big cap-and-trade plays.

Academia needs to come out on the right side of this huge issue, as Penn State has at minimum, begun their reasonable semblance of response. This has 500x the potential impact of a NCAA sports investigation.

Truth has long been a casualty in this endeavor, and it will continue to be Gore's adversary for a long time.

HF

Can anyone find another source on this story? Is it true or is the media just doing its usual job?

Even Jon Stewart turned on him: “Poor Al Gore, global warming completely debunked by the very Internet you invented.”

BWWWWWWWWAAAAAAA HA HA HA That's probably the funniest thing that guy has ever said!

Gore was run out of a mall during one of his book signing tours, when he tucked tail and ran from folks questioning him on the ‘settled science’-

I read that - wonder how his book sales are doing? STARK contrast to Sarah's book tour!

And then Gore said, "Let there be warmth. And there was warmth."

“With Gore I can’t see him letting Climategate make him cancel.”

It’s the end of the year - maybe he ran out of carbon credits!

Bull.

Al Gore has repeatedly refused to debate anyone on the subject.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/05/al-gore-turns-down-debate_n_172371.html

He’s publicly called global warming deniers ‘flat earthers’, and even went so far as to compare them to Nazi’s

http://michellemalkin.com/2009/07/07/al-gore-if-you-question-global-warming-cult-youre-a-nazi/

Al Gore is wholly complicit in the lie.

This cretin deserves to burn. I can’t wait to watch it.

not just lawsuits — he’s up to his eyebrows in carbon credit trading which is contingent on this all being other than a fraud. he and bernie madoff could be exchanging bodily fluids if he admitted it’s not true. by sticking to his claims, he has at least an insanity defense . . .

The people who ran him out of the mall and into a limo waiting with the engine running were partisans from the Lyndon LaRouche youth movement (LYM), the only people who seem to be putting bodies on the line over Climategate. We need pies in faces, boys and girls...
