SEATTLE -- The suspect in the fatal shooting of four officers in Parkland was not found inside a Seattle home that was surrounded by a SWAT team and numerous officers, Pierce Co. Sheriff Detective Ed Troyer said.
Maurice Clemmons, 37, was believed to be holed up in the home in the Leschi neighborhood after he was shot and wounded by one of the four slain officers before fleeing from the Parkland coffee shop where the officers were gunned down.

You mean to tell me they sat out there all frickin’ night and fired tear gas into the house and gave out reports they thought he was dead and he wasn’t even in there? No guts, no one to go barging in and check it out?
On FoxNews earlier this morning, I thought they said stomach. If it was the leg, I’m sorry for popping off. I will admit to wishing more than usual that my understanding is correct in this instance. If not DARN!
If he got shot in the stomach, he will eventually become septic.
This would require an ICU admission with huge cost to the taxpayer.
Maybe he will crawl into a hole and die, which will save us a lot of money.

While I am not a big fan of Hucks, and from what I read, especially about the long sentence he was paroled from,Huck needs to bear some of the responsibility, There are others that ought to be publicy denounced, like those on the parole board that recommended to Huck that this guy be turned loose. Often governors simply rely on the recommendations of the “professionals”
And those who have continued to let him out, from what I read, several times since 9 years ago when Huckster let him go need to be identified. What judge just turned him loose a few days ago?
Well, a**hat, since you ask, I came out of Arkansas, my mother did, my brother and a whole bunch of relatives also, most of them still in Arkansas and most of them vote conservative. Those are all "good" things that have come out of Arkansas. I wish my mother had stayed there when I was young and I wouldn't be stuck in CA now.
Lots of good people in Arkansas and have come from Arkansas. To imply they are all a bunch of jerks like Clinton and Huckabee is pretty frickin' sh***y, IMO.

We’ll see. Your comments are on target for a stomach wound. My thought had been that it might be a good idea to let him hole up somewhere if they’ve got him iron clad contained. That way he could shrivel up and die without medical care.
If they arrest him ASAP, they will have to provide medical care. I agree with your thoughts on the cost, and how unfortunate that would be.

I was born in and grew up in Massachusetts, where my mother’s family went back several generations (fortunately I and nearly all in the current generations have moved elsewhere). It would not offend me in the least if anyone here says “Does anything good come out of Massachusetts?” b/c I know (or I hope) that FReepers making such remarks are referring to the dominant corrupt and PC political culture, to the political class and the majorities that keep electing the scoundrels, and not to *everyone* living in or who ever “came out of” Massachusetts (although in the case of Mass. conservatives are a vanishing breed).
In the case of Arkansas, I assume and believe that millions of good people live there and plenty more have “come out of” there to live in other places. Still, I hope you can acknowledge that the influence of Arkansas pols on the national (and international) scene has not exactly been positive. The same must be said even more emphatically, of course, about Mass. pols.
As well it should be. Yesterday I’d heard $10,000 and thought that was embarrassing- better no reward than one like that.

I was hoping to wake up to the news that he was behind bars. Just Damn.
Last night, subbing for Geraldo, Kimberly Guilfoyle kept repeating it was $10,000 even after the on-scene report said that it had been raised to $115,000 (at that time). It appeared she wasn’t even listening to his report.
