The Pierce County Sheriffs Department has reported that four police officers have been shot dead in an ambush at the Forza Coffee coffee shop at 11401 on South Steele Street in Lakewood Sunday morning.
Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said investigators are immediately offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect, and that number is expected to grow.

“I cant believe an American city has a statue of Lenin, (Seattle.)”
Freemont district - imported from Russia in the 90s if I remember correctly.
“I wish someone would dump it in the sound.”
Only if they bring a 65 ton crane to lift the bronze larger-than-life-sized abomination...
Don't know, but I do know that Lakewood has a HUGE drug problem, mainly meth.
***Why no description of the shooter? Never mind I know the answer.***
Two white guys in a white van? Sarc/off
I know. Every time I think PDX is bad, I just think of our neighbors to the north (and south).
It's finally starting to show up as breaking news on all the media sites now. I can't imagine that this won't be a HUGE story. I'm in my 50s, and I can't remember anything similar to this, not even during the peak of the NYC mob wars.
Welllllll, there is a theory that 0bama was born in a home for unwed mothers in Vancouver BC.
After all the very first confirmed itty-bitty Barack sighting was just across the border on Mercer Island...
Do you have any actual statistics on the amount of blonds who go missing versus other hair colors? For all you know...blond women in America disappear at a higher rate.
So do you have any actual numbers or do you just have a problem with blond people in general?
“Your well written post...”
Gee, thanks! We try! :)
Lived there for 30 years. Fled when overwhelmed by liberal Democrates intent on destroying the once beautiful state - the Lenin statue being a case in point - Freemont used to be a sort of hippy area, but after the statue arrived I never went there again.
As for the monsters, well, in time they will go too far and that will be the end of the road for them nationwide.
And of course, we can't carry firearms on base because of their commie-like rules, so if we go off-base to eat, we go unarmed.
Fox News reporting 2 shooters. 1 black male, 1 white male. No other descriptions given.
Latest information (subject to change) is two males, one white, one black.
“just across the border on Mercer Island...”
is 75 miles to the southeast and either a very long car / ferry ride or both depending on route chosen.
The report on CNN.com or google news said they were sheriff’s deputies, preparing for their shift at their laptops in the coffee shop.
I wonder how this all will play out nationwide, as people leave Calif. for Texas and NJ for Fla,...there may well be a repositioning of the cultures and voting blocks that alter some states...Now if they don’t ‘bail out” the liberal , loser states, things could change.
According to this article it was “one male and one black male”. Odd, but ...

Fox reporting two suspects, one "black", one "white". Hmm, that's only about 3 miles from the Islamic Center of Tacoma. Wonder if either or both of the killers shouted "Alahu akbar"?
Regular gang banger types would not be out at 0830, nor would you have a mixed "race" team. Another possibility would be latino gangs, but the same 0830 issue applies there, but you could get a dark guy and light guy and think you had a black and a white.
Time will tell.
Probably their morning routine. I’m sure the shooters knew right where to find them at that time of day. Straight up execution.
