The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department has reported that four police officers have been shot dead in an ambush at the Forza Coffee coffee shop at 11401 on South Steele Street in Lakewood Sunday morning.
Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said investigators are immediately offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect, and that number is expected to grow.

Lakewood is just a bit south of Tacoma. The coffee shop is right across the street from McChord AFB, where my husband works.
I hope whoever is responsible for this horrible murder is dealt with severely.

This is similar to an episode of ‘Criminal Minds’ that was aired a few days ago...It was a repeat, but in the episodethe perp was ambushing cops. abnd he didn’t stop after one time, but kept setting up ambushes and “blitz attacks” on the cops of the city in the episode.
4 cops in one ambush. And another one in nearby SEattle not more than a few weeks ago. And the fact people are selling T-shirts with the likeness of the original perp.....It’s a war!
It sounds like the cops were on a coffee break and the perp came in specifically to kill them. just walked up to them while they were drinking their coffee, and shot them by surprise.
Controlled media is not covering it. If this were a car chase involving drugs it would be all over the news!
The report says “shooter”, singular.
What was he armed with?

This is a WAR. We need our people in Blue to be better protected and armed than the gangbangers society is scared of and has given up on. I wish we could shoot to kill sometimes, but we have to worry about lawsuits... Something is wrong. I don’t support police brutality, but it seems those who do not play by the rules, the bad guys, have an ace up their sleeve.

4 Officers Fatally Shot Near Parkland

SEATTLE — Four officers have been shot and killed near Parkland in Pierce County, a sheriff’s office representative tells KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.
The officers were shot near 116th Street and Steele Street on the east side of McChord Air Force base at about 8:30 a.m., said Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ed Troyer.
There’s no immediate information about which police agencies are involved.
The Tacoma News Tribune reported the shooting happened at the Forza Coffee coffee shop at 11401 on South Steele Street in Lakewood.
KIRO 7 Eyewitness News crews are at the scene.

The shooter could have hoped to kill air force people being that the shop is adjacent to the base. Perhaps the shooter thought by walking into the shop he could just pick off air force people but when he didn’t see any he just chose to shoot the police. <P.
He also could have targeted the police.....
