Controlled media is not covering it. If this were a car chase involving drugs it would be all over the news!
The shooter could have hoped to kill air force people being that the shop is adjacent to the base. Perhaps the shooter thought by walking into the shop he could just pick off air force people but when he didn’t see any he just chose to shoot the police. <P.
He also could have targeted the police.....

It's finally starting to show up as breaking news on all the media sites now. I can't imagine that this won't be a HUGE story. I'm in my 50s, and I can't remember anything similar to this, not even during the peak of the NYC mob wars.
