Climate change data dumped!!!!!!!!
Times Online (UK) ^ | November 29, 2009 | Jonathan Leake, Environment Editor

SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.

It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.

The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.

Yes, the Left is unconscionable, although they falsely claim that they are the conscience of the community (”We Are The World”).

And top o’ the mornin’ to you, too.

When will this astonishing global scam get the high profile boradcast it deserves?
+++++++++++++++

Don’t hold your breath. The Conservative media will have to drive this and keep it alive.

the “believers” (obamabots and gorebots) still believe.

It’s true, they’re calling the email breach (whether or not it’s an insider job, or external) ‘a federal crime’ (what? British federal or?), and saying that the emails have been misinterpreted. (What? They don’t discuss the actual powder keg content of manipulation, threats, censorship and corruption.)

Sounds like what happened in Iraq with Chem weapons that are buried “somewhere in the desert near Fallujah”... No joke... They literally LOST a stockpile of Chemical weapons they buried in the desert - info. gleaned from a translated Saddam Hussein Document.

We went to the USC-ucla game last night, and met several friends for a tailgate. All are very successful, busy people. Two USC JDs, one ucla JD , one Harvard JD, the the rest were from Cal , U PA (Warton), William and Mary - you get the picture. All are Reps -one dem. Most get their news from traditional sources. Three had NEVER HEARD of climate gate - the rest had heard very little. Only b/c I read FR I had even heard of it and knew the details.

So, folks , don’t assume that there is some public outcry about this in the general population. When the press refuses to cover something, the silence can be effective.
+++++++++++++++

‘effective’

And damning.

Or, NCAR in Boulder? You know... the National Center for Atmospheric Research.

I’ve been there - went on a tour with my daughters for a homeschool group. Got filled in on all the readings they take on a daily basis to compare with past years and such. Don’t tell me they don’t have those numbers somewhere...

This, in my modest opinion, is why so many people vote for liberals. The half-story or non-story had been the main crime of the media for decades. The least knowledgeable a person is about facts, the more likely they vote for Democrats.

But I’ve known people who swear to be conservative Republicans spout liberal gibberish from time to time. I have to correct them. Some protest because “they heard it over the news.” Then I have to tell them not to believe everything they see on the news. Which is something you should not have to tell a Republican.
+++++++++++++++

Very valid points.

Science calls for replicating data to check accuracy. No data replication, no accuracy.

Remember the “Question Authority” bumper stickers?

Question Global Warming Authority every second of the day. For the RATS to say on FOX (as I just saw), that this is being misconstrued and calling those trying to expose Climategate ‘liars’ is just ultimate Orwellian double speak.

I did a project in the early 80’s requiring 100 years worth (1880’s to 1980’s) of river level measurements from thousands of collection points around the US. It fit on a set of 10 magnetic tapes. Probably a gig’s worth. Easily fit in one cardboard box.

Their excuses and lies are as valid as an empty cardboard box.

The UK has a Serious Fraud police unit and they should be called.

Are they also brainwashed about global warming?

I seem to remember that these clowns wanted Nuremberg-style trials for “deniers.” I think the same is justified for “pretend scientists”.....

Put ‘em in the plexiglass boxes, as per their conceited request.

What would have been a lot cheaper to do is to rent warehouse space to store his files and tapes. For a hundred bucks a month he should have been able to get climate controlled storage space somewhere.
++++++++++++++

Compare that to the tens of millions of pounds/dollars of grant money they’ve gotten over the years.

They’re lying.

I like the suggestion above to put everything concerning GW on hold until the data can be reproduced then I bet somehow the raw data mysteriously appears.
+++++++++++++++

How can we trust anything these yahoos claim is ‘raw data?’

I trust them not.

They probably do. Good luck getting it if they don't want you to have it.

What data or file(s)are you going to ask for? If you don't have the specific name they will just state no such file and shine you on.

Better to get a search warrant and treat the whole thing as a crime scene and start sifting the data you've seized.

So, now that the global warming/climate change scam has been totally debunked, are they going to cancel the Copenhagen Climate gig? What? ugh, er, What, they're not? Why not? Why have it if it's been shown to be a huge socialist anti-capitalist hoax all along? Oh, . . it's a UN deal? So What?

Boycott Copenhagen!

I hope the Europeans (and any US folks who can go) have a Humangous 9/12 Type Rally in Copenhagen Against the Conference with tons of signs, songs, speeches and music.
