For reference.

No, this is not some big laughable joke for SNL.

The Salahi's, if let in to the Executive grounds by White House Staff to the consternation of the Secret Service who are now being called publicly on the carpet for operational errors, an immediate independent investigation of the White House Staff or Official(s) involved is called for and appropriate legal action should be taken.

(The White House maintains this couple did NOT have an invitation and were NOT on the official list).

On the other hand, had this couple illegally entered the Executive Mansion, meeting the President and a key foreign VIP--a Prime Minister no less having succeded eight recent Indian prime ministers among whom two were assassinated by radical assailants entering the inner circle of executive proection) requiring high vigilance, and willingly did this act by lying to Federal protective authorities at one or several checkpoints, shall they just be let off with a wink and a smile and Larry King Tonight, book tour and reality show to save their failing businesses--while the news of our porous federal facilities is telegraphed around the world for all to see?

When do we start punishing lies and other actions of wrongdoing in this land for money or for fame, and also show we are serious about the physical security of US Government installations, be they the facilities such as the White House for the Beautiful-People set, or facilities such as Ft. Hood for the hoi polloi in flyover country. Nobody is above the law. Democrat campaign contributor or not. Friend of the Indian Ambassador to the United States or not. Nobody gets special breaks. Dan White was a San Francisco Supervisor lest we forget. We are still in a state of war and on high vigilance form overseas Islamist terrorism, the last time I looked. This security breach and international diplomatic incident comes on the heels of The Washington Times's stories about apparant security lapses and carelessness by NSC/White House staff (interns or junior staff) when off duty and in public places near the White House (classified information discussed openly/secure badges openly displayed) and other antics. Recall that Major Nidal Malik Hasan had been allowed into a VIP speech by the then-Ambassador of Israel to the United States Meridor, just down the street from the White House last summer, sitting only a meter or two from the Ambassador, as well as former Ambassador Paul Bremer, at the same time Hasan had already come to the attention of the US Army and FBI and may well have been in contact with radical clerics in Yemen.

Even the Watergate burglars were arrested under this same D.C. Code § 22-3102.

Will this end up as another vague, Robert L. Gibbs-esque "guys, I'll have to get back to you on that one." What is wrong with this White House?

Their move.

Setting down markers. As if anything, we want a secure White House. Keep in mind Sarah Palin will be occupying it from 2013.

Maybe that's the plan - a "go signal" - and that *is* what's wrong with the illegitimate occupants of the White House.

The Obama regime is America's mortal head wound. Dark days are ahead.

To equate these celebrity seekers with the plumbers of Watergate is a bit of a stretch, ya think? All we know right now is that they were alledgedly told they were the winners of a night out to a State Dinner.

True or not, these people were obviously looking for some sort of publicity to garner an avenue to some easy bucks and someone set them up to fail not ever thinking the security protocols at the White House would ever let them in.

The end result is that the crowd in charge of the White House showed their distain for such protocols as they do for the truth in any other circunstance just so they can continue the Wednesday night public fleecing parties paid for by us.

I hope the Special Agent in Charge has the balls to tell who exactly it was that authorized their entry. He/She certainly did not have the authority, or any agent under his/her command, to make such a stupid decision as they were directed to do so.

I say leave the two crashers be with their 15 minutes of fame because it was their sheer stupidity that caused them to think they could ever be considered for such an invittation. Reports from their last known permanent residence is that their two luxury cars have been reposessed and the home has been forclosed on. They have apparently been residing in DC motels since.

House oversight committees need to have public hearings for the testamony of all agents (identities protected from the public) who were on duty that night to find out who all in the administration approved such a breach of the protocol and that person and their superiors brought up on charges and prosecuted. Now that would be a suitable replacement for the terrorist show trials if the administration was really serious of showing the world how our legal-justice system works.

Unlawful Entry describes obama’s presence in the White House, as per the Constitution.

“What is wrong with this White House?”

I submit that this is but one more manifestation of the incompetence of political appointees.

It appears that the Secret Service accomplished their requirement to screen for a security threat; however, the Social planners failed to screen people against an existing List of Invitees.

I thought I had heard this morning that they WERE on the list at the first checkpoint.

Just like Tiger, we’re not getting the whole story here. Not by a long shot.

This story is just so much bunk. Many Hollywood elite were at this party and I just have to think the White House is working in concert with the producers of the reality show, this couple is looking to pilot.

It has become to big a news story. In the past, guys who have scaled the fence to enter White House grounds have been arrested and sent to psych ward. Never heard from them again.

White House is helping a producer of the show.

Is there a list of attendees to compare and see who the White House is boosting?

BOTH couples, the Salahis, and the Obamas, were allowed in by the gate keepers. It’s hard for me to see that this is a crime.

... punishable by a fine not exceeding $100 or imprisonment in the District of Columbia jail for not more than six months or both in the discretion of the court.

If I may, Your Honor, I'll take the $100 fine. Not a bad cover charge for such a grand party!

.” What is wrong with this White House?”

Uh, Has anyone looked up how much money this couple has donated to obamian causes? Maybe that’s it.

Seems there is a big difference between a "break-in" and permitting someone to enter your home when they knock on your door.

Don’t know for sure, but I will go with the wild assumption that there party-crashers are Christian; to make a wilder point that it’s good that the crashers were Christian and not members of the Religion Of Peace. Otherwise, the results could have been tragic.

The Hollywood connection is very likely. You don't walk in to these affairs. The drive-through gate on Executive Avenue requires a vehicle pass and ID check on the driver only. Being passengers only, they could easily get on the grounds of the WH.

From there, you walk through a metal detector at the W kiosk and only then do they run ID's. The guest list is always in flux, plans change for attendees so there are a lot of add-ons, hand writes on the list.

There is always a staffer that clears the NOTL's. The SS can only do what they are told.

Has it occurred to anyone that there was a REASON to keep them off the Guest List? Is the Guest List vetted for certain flags? Would these to have not been allowed in if done correctly?
