You’re 100% right. I work with numerous people who have fled countries with communist/socialist regimes, and they all say the exact same thing. How many people who have the first-hand experience with this type of government have to say it before we believe it?
Suit yourself. Obama got elected because he sold many uniformed voters a phoney bill of goods. Even so, many, many Americans voted against him, nearly half. That number has only grown stronger as the injuries have piled up. We are now the majority.
BTW, I resent being lumped together with the granite counter-top crowd. We don’t live like that. Never have. You only prove by such a statement that your facts are incomplete. Your most important incomplete fact is how many Americans do see what is going on and know how to respond effectively.
But the work of these good, strong, unspoiled Americans is only weakened by despair and defeatism such as yours. Our strength is our ability to fight impossible odds because we don’t believe in impossible odds. They never get us down. God is in His Heaven and on any given day we can win. My dad was Navy. They used to say, “The difficult we do right away; the impossible takes a little longer.” Don’t give up. We need you.
I appreciate your post, wow.
I came here and I do not understand how fast this country ios moving towards a socialist country.
No use saying it will never happen, there will be an uprising.
we know there will be none of it because most don’t know crap about what is going on and though may do, so what.
What is to be done?
Don’t worry my friend, as someone who comes from a Southern family I can attest that the spirit of rebellion to an odius government is still alive and well. It would be ironic if the South was the region that actually holds the original ideas of freedom in this country. The Midwest and Intermountain West aint bad either.
