Suit yourself. Obama got elected because he sold many uniformed voters a phoney bill of goods. Even so, many, many Americans voted against him, nearly half. That number has only grown stronger as the injuries have piled up. We are now the majority.

BTW, I resent being lumped together with the granite counter-top crowd. We don’t live like that. Never have. You only prove by such a statement that your facts are incomplete. Your most important incomplete fact is how many Americans do see what is going on and know how to respond effectively.

But the work of these good, strong, unspoiled Americans is only weakened by despair and defeatism such as yours. Our strength is our ability to fight impossible odds because we don’t believe in impossible odds. They never get us down. God is in His Heaven and on any given day we can win. My dad was Navy. They used to say, “The difficult we do right away; the impossible takes a little longer.” Don’t give up. We need you.

I am not giving up, otherwise I would not be on that site. I am not either a pessimistic by nature - at all. What I see is clear to me. Because I saw it before. And yes, I am upset. Awfully upset with the people who voted for the guy, I cannot even talk to them anymore and a lot of my friends - ex friends are "them" - but I am slo upset that WE let them vote for the guy - knowing all we knew about him - no lawsuit nothing before the elections yet we could have done so much.

What I am trying to say, and I certainly don't want to offend any of you, is that we have NO time to stop this regime. It will overwhelm us much faster than you think. If you don't want to believe me and think that it is only pessimism, that's ok.
