ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say Tiger Woods has been seriously injured in a car wreck in Florida.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the PGA star hit a fire hydrant and a tree as he pulled out of his driveway early Friday in his 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle.

Woods was taken to Health Central Hospital. His condition was not immediately known, though the news release said his injuries were serious.

The highway patrol says the crash is still under investigation, and charges are pending. However, the highway patrol said the crash was not alcohol-related.

I think that is the strangest account I have ever heard of a serious car accident.

I guess it will be straightened out as we learn more.

Our grip on life is so tenuous.

Hope he comes out of it okay.
He’s a class act.

Obviously you aren't aware of what's been going on with Tiger these days?

The first assumption would be if he was hitting the road at 2:30am after thanksgiving he wasn't in the best frame of mind.

Leaving his home at 2:30 AM? Sounds like he punched it pulling out of his driveway and the SUV has a little more power than expected.

Prayers for a speedy recovery.

The accident occurred at 2:25 early this morning. The Florida Highway Patrol did not report it until 2:00 this afternoon.

Prayers for this family. No matter what happened, they need to be lifted up to our Heavenly Father.

um, there are rampant rumors of an affair and leaving the house at 2:30 am after Thanksgiving raises eyebrows, comment COMPLETELY called for.
