Apple orchards and other farming. With all the crimes committed by Mexicans, it makes me wonder who bad crime really is in Mexico.
It’s the apple growing center of the USA. Unlike Mexicans in LA, most of the ones in Yakima really are farm workers, or were a generation ago.
Demographic numbers with hispanics never add up. Hispanic is not a race, like black, white or asian. Hispanics can be black or white.
As a result, that 43% hispanics could be either black or white. That 68% white includes hispanic whites and non-hispanic whites.
Here is my best guess from your numbers:
42.0% Hispanic whites and blacks
26.5% White non-hispanic
20.8% Other
05.0% American Indian
03.0% Multirace
01.5% Black non-hispanic
00.9% Asian
00.3% Pacific Islander
= 100%
So you actually have a place that is 80% non-european white (since almost the lion’s share of hispanics are Mexican with much less central and south american, and virtually 0% from Spain herself.
As a FORMER resident of the People’s Demokratic Republic of Washington State, I can tell you Mexicans are everywhere in Washington and Oregon. Both states are “filthy” with them.
So in your world, 14 year old, un-supervised girls passing out drunk or high at parties where they can be sexually assaulted and then murdered by older guys is a rite of passage...just a normal part of growing up? WTF?
...maybe they were just being teen girls like most every other teen girl has been since there were teen girls on this rock....

I must assume that you are not very old. Teenage girls in America, before about 1980, were usually much more careful in protecting themselves. Time was a girl would never use profanity in public or drink to excess lest men assume she was of loose morals.
Please do not accuse me of a “blame-the-victim” mentality. I am merely saying that young women today often make unwise choices that put them in harm’s way. A girl drinking herself into a stupor at a party is acting as foolishly as a man walking down a dark alley with money hanging out of his pockets.
So their population there is more than 100% You got a problem with that? Racist!
Yakima has been taken over by the Mexicans...gang activity is terrible and spreading now to other communities in Eastern Washington. Spokane, Wenatchee, Moses Lake are going down the tubes too if nobody stops it. The migrants used to migrate, now they just stay, live off the dole and crank out babies like there is no tomorrow. In a generation and a half, it will be like LA.
