yeah that does sound odd. It sounds like a fender bender, how do you get seriously injured going 33 miles per hour, especially in a big car like an Escalade

How can you be seriously injured backing out of a driveway and hitting something from behind? My guess is that he got into an argument with someone and then angrily sped off ramming his SUV into the hydrant then the tree.
