WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured when he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree outside of his Isleworth home early on Friday morning, officials said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods was seriously injured and taken to Health Central Hospital. The Orange County Fire Department confirmed that a patient was taken to Health Central, but would not confirm that the patient was Woods.
Woods was driving a 2009 black Escalade, FHP said. He hit a fire hydrant outside of his home and a tree outside his neighbor's home.
FHP said the crash is still under investigation.
Update: Authorities: Tiger Woods hurt in Fla. car crash
Oddly enough, steroids might explain some things.
Haven’t seen anything about steroids in the car. Source?
Appropriate sentiment but wrong place for that. This is the "day after the fake giving of Love and Thanks, spread the rumor and bash the golfer" thread........
It just amazes me how many so called Christian conservatives on this site can come out and support baseless rumors and actually embellish them, all in an attempt to display their hatred of some golfer they have never personally met.
I think their time would be better spent sending letters of their personal disgust to any of the charities that Tiger Woods has established thru the Tiger Woods Foundation..........
2:30 in the morning. Well the Wal Mart’s Black Friday sales start at 5:00 am Maybe he was in a hurry to stand in line to get the 32” TV for $248.
Exactly. Instead he lets white race-baiters use him. Ran off to Phil Knight's (Nike) cabin for two weeks and then finally issued a press release which ignored Fuzzy's apology.
Very few people know the real story about Fuzzy and Earl Woods and what was really said and who said it.
Fuzzy was the person who was wronged there. he owed nobody an apology but offered one up anyway.
Where on earth did you hear that? Nothing on twitter and everything is there first.
Not that I care, really, but I wonder....what do people do in a house that big. I mean, if you don’t have a really large family, doesn’t it mostly seem rather empty and museum-ish?<p
Yep, now I see it. It looks white, it must be within code in that area to be white.
Wow. Those people are animals.
I hit a deer once doing 60 and the airbags didn't deploy.
Good to know; hope he stays on the wagon.
Well, his driving has been known to erratic at times.
They have only seen his good side. They do not watch enough of him to have seen his bad side. And Im not going to spoil it for them now.
What if he was having a fight with his wife and stormed out of the house.

Well, I would love to have a house that big, actually -- I just wouldn't want to take care of it... LOL ... And then, there's the bills for the upkeep and utilities, another thing I wouldn't want to take care of.
But, then again, someone who has a house like that doesn't care, because they're so filthy rich, it doesn't make any difference... :-)
You ought to see the land that Garth Brooks has around that house, and the helicopter that flies in there all the time. The property is about 2 square miles (or about 1,300 acres) and surrounded by about seven or eight foot high fencing around the entire property.

I didn’t know that deer came with airbags.
