I love tech, but the ISS is as ugly as it gets.One of the things that charmed me about the first Star Wars movies was that the spacecraft all looked dirty and a little beat-up, as if they had been in real use getting miles on them. They had odd things sticking out of them and were not attractive or sleek. It seemed so realistic, because that's what honest using vehicles, like modern trucks, do look like.

I don’t care how ugly it is, as long as it works! The only time I ever see it is when it comes flying high over our neighborhood, shining away in the reflected sunlight. I don’t ever get tired of watching it sail over.
