Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!
No more socialism!!
Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!
Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!

Being considered a socialist stems from your post after post after post on this thread that usurps the idea of fighting party dogma. It is you and your ilk who are promoting the success of Obama and the Democrats by supporting liberal Republicans who have no problem voting with them on anti-conservative issues.
You say you're a capitalist. Why should I believe you when the people you want us to support voted for the bailout, have voted for bigger and more oppressive government before the bailout came along, have lost an opportunity to take parliamentary measures insuring reading of the health legislation because they'd rather enjoy Thanksgiving Weekend at home, and in some cases have voted FOR such a intrusion on our civil rights? Why should I believe you?
Advocating is only one way to insure a policy is enforced. The other way is ambivalence. And that's what you display. Your continued support for anyone with an (R) after their name insures more of the same, until we will have lost it all. You may not believe in socialism, but you continue to rebuke anyone who's willing to fight. And that makes you a socialist by default. My charge is not baseless, and I am not lying when I say what I believe about you and your cohorts.

Obama is winning for the Republicans right now by simply pushing his agenda in Congress as in “health care.”
In New Jersey, Corzine was so corrupt there was no way Christie (who is less than a full conservative) could lose.
Ed Gillespie of the RNC took over the McDonnell campaign in Virginia and kept Sarah Palin out of it plus anything that smacked of conservatism.
McDonnell could have done it the Jesse Helms way with no compromise and 52 percent of the vote, but the RINO’s pushed him to the left with talk about education and touchy feely stuff.
More money doesn’t improve education by the way. More education money is a salary and pension payoff to the National Education Association teachers union. Pay and benefits is where most of the education money goes period.

Yes. I have a question. Do you consider Newt Gingrich to be a RINO? And if so, why?
There seems to be an anti-Newt movement afoot and for the life of me, I can't figure out why they are targeting him as being a RINO. It can't just be that one little ad he participated in re: the environment.

Newt backed Scozzafava in NY 23 and we lost because of it. The “Republican” Scozzafava backed out and campaigned for the Democrat.

Newt claimed that Reagan Conservatism was dead. Then when Rush called him on it, he took wifey and did a documentary about his hero, Reagan. He is down with the whole global warming scam. He wants us to be kinder and gentler towards lefties in the republican party. He stuck himself in the middle of a contested election in favor of a rino who was farther to the left than obama.

Newt not only backed Scozzafava, but when other Republicans and conservatives rebuked her candidacy, he dug in and got defensive about it. He made a mistake and went party over principle. And this in the face of a bonifide conservative candidate who was electable.
I don’t really care if you personally believe me. I have a more than ample history of making my views known. Sensible FReepers will accept it for what it is. Or from a simple common sense viewpoint, I have too much to lose under socialism. I have a modest house, but it’s mine. I’ve been to Europe where people live like sardines, and it’s not for me. Keep socialism and don’t accuse me of it.
I do not understand the desire to do it.
Save it for liberals and Dimocrats. They are the true enemy.
