Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!
No more socialism!!
Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!
Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!
And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!
Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!
The strategy is we win, they lose.
Any questions?
Just a question re:our voting system.
Do you think our soldiers died for a 2 party system?
In granny’s eyes, the only difference is the almighty R.
If you're gonna do your part, you've gotta step up your game.
You name dropper you.
Ban me now!!!
You have no idea what I am or am not doing.
Bye Cedric.
Did you not learn anything from NY23? No. I’m willing to bet had you voted in that election, you would have voted for Scozzafava, right?
McCain’s campaign was a weak sister to begin with. He drifted right in order to shore up his base, but many weren’t buying it. We knew who and what he was. We had respect for his wartime sacrifice, but his political career left us cold. Then came Sarah Palin. She was not only a lovely woman, but a successful governor, well spoken, and displayed a good mix of political rightism. It was after her pick that people really started attending rallies. She was the draw. There was excitement in the air. Finally!
But then McCain did his bailout quickstep just before the election. That negated anything Sarah had accomplished. In fact, it likely knocked him back a few more points. There’s no way he could ever overcome that mistake in judgment.
Had he used the opportunity to go to Washington to argue against the bailout, against further government intervention into the economy, argue for tax cuts and incentives to business (especially small business), he’d have been seen as a hero. But that was never to be.
There are any number of people on this thread, on this forum, arguing in favor of the McCains, Romneys or Huckabees of this world as being our only hope of reclaiming the presidency. I say to them, look at McCain’s folly in the last election. That’s what we can expect from RINOs. And the reaction America had for him is what you can expect in the future. We’ve had enough. RINOs are no different than Democrats. Their beltway mentality doesn’t play any longer. We want change and we’re going to get it. RINOs aren’t change. We won’t vote for them. If this can’t be understood, then it’s your problem.
Or in the case of Cedric, the one whose name you dare not mention, “heck” posting history for brilliance.
I learn so much from freepers, and this again is a learning experience...about the dynamics of one party people, and debate.
Is that another one of your "goals"?
Yep. Exactly the display of RINO mentality typical of the people you argue for. Thanks but no thanks.
Well, state YOUR case. If the gop refuses to get rid of rinos, and continues on their path, will you continue to stand by their side?
Cedric to DJ MacWoW
Heres a third choice: Shes challenging you to think beyond your ability to do so.
Insult, disupting...
to darkshear..
“Quit scratchin your privates and go look it up. “
Your posting history...ewww.
Cedric to Conservativegreatgrandma
No, you’re in the clear majority.
Remember, this is a very conservative web site.
The Republican voting population, at large, is not nearly as conservative. And, frankly, that’s what makes folks around here so frustrated.
Got it, you’re more like a moderate or less.
I already said that.
Well put. I have had it with the idea that the GOP is entitled to my vote by birthright any time it puts up a candidate that is 0.05% less liberal than the Rat.
Of course I've felt this way for years, while FR was "BUSH Country!!" before I joined and while FR was "MCCAIN Country!!" last year.
I figure most of y'all are just coming around to my point of view.
This thread has certainly been a "trip". lol
