(Oct. 14, 2009) What most people know is that the Associated Press (AP) is one of the largest, internationally recognized, syndicated news services. What most people dont know that is in 2004, the AP was a birther news organization.
How so? Because in a syndicated report, published Sunday, June 27, 2004, by the Kenyan Standard Times, and which was, as of this report, available at
http://web.archive.org/web/20040627142700/eastandard.net/headlines/news26060403.htm
The AP reporter stated the following:
Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.
This report explains the context of the oft cited debate, between Obama and Keyes in the following Fall, in which Keyes faulted Obama for not being a natural born citizen, and in which Obama, by his quick retort, So what? I am running for Illinois Senator, not the presidency, self-admitted that he was not eligible for the office. Seeing that an AP reporter is too professional to submit a story which was not based on confirmed sources (ostensibly the Obama campaign in this case), the inference seems inescapable: Obama himself was putting out in 2004, that he was born in Kenya.
The difficulty in finding this gem of a story is hampered by Google, which is running flak for Obama: because if you search for Kenyan-born US Senate you wont find it, but if you search for the phrase without quotes you will find links which talk about it.
Oh good, this again.

At the time of the drafting and ratification of the United States constitution,
the definition of natural born citizen, combined both the principles of jus soli and jus sanguinis.
The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.
As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.
Emmerich De Vattel, (1714-1767,) Law of Nations, 1758, § 212, "Of the citizens and naturals."
Are we now saying that the AP has a credible fact-checking operation? Media is infallible again because of an obscure reference?

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Have you seen a picture of Obama Sr? That was never his father.
Scrubbed already by the White House.

Impossible!? That would mean Comrade Obama Jr lied about who his father was.
I doubt his mom even knew which guy was the father.
I agree. God what has our government become?
WOW if only there were a not for profit website that I could donate money to the Childrens ward of Kapiolani hospital in Hawaii in the Name of the Doctor that birthed Obama with said donations only made available in that doctors name as proven on the long version of Obama;s BC I am sure the White House would never deny the children such a large and generous donation that the millions interested in this subject would happily donate....
But we already knew this...
So why wasn’t Hillery Clinton on this like a bat from hell during the campaign?
A trash dump for the insane and criminals. Few left that are conservative Constitutionalists.
So...where DO they appear? It says "This report explains...". What report? Hearsay is not sufficient.
We have not been able to confirm this at all. Therefore we consider untrue, until it is sourced.
Without a recording of the debate it leaves open to many denials.
Also, it stretches credulity that Alan Keyes would bring up NBC, as it is not a requirement, so it wouldn’t even be a question.
Not that I doubt you in the least, but how is it that that can be linked to the framers?
