Look, go up to the top of the forum page to the search box, type in "birthcertificate"
There are hundreds of threads going back over a year, and many containing thousands of posts. There are Constitutional scholars and paid White House trolls there duking it out. Go read it.
Also read the federalist papers and you can see the intent of the founders. They exempted themselves as they were not natural born, but wanted people with allegiance to no other nation as president. Natural born had a was a term of art at the time and they assumed you would look it up if you didn't know.
I'll take the original intent of the founding fathers over the "if it feels good do it" interpretation of president Do cacas any old day.
And these alleged "White House trolls" (a term applied to anyone who's not buying this birther nonsense) have the rule of law behind them while the so-called "Constitutional scholars" have had their arguments laughed out of every courtroom they've been presented in.
I usually have to go back and forth with someone a couple of times to realize that they are unable to have an open mind with a subject.
In 50 years I have never heard anyone define someone born in this country as “not being a natural born citizen.” Where the parents are born is of no consequence if the child is born on US soil. The child is automatically a natural born citizen of the country.
What you are saying is insulting to thousands of children of immigrants that have come to this country, fought in our wars, and participated in our society.
Your argument of “look on the internet and read what people write in forums” as the basis for your belief if beyond scary.
For God’s sake, I write on these forums. What makes me an expert on anything.
