I’m in Arroyo Grande, near Pismo Beach. This is where I lived before moving to Alaska. I come back here every Thanksgiving.
I always stay with my “sister” (best friend from 30+ years ago). She, her son, DIL, grandson are going down to LA (3+ hrs) for Thanksgiving dinner with son #2, DIL, and 2nd grandson. They are leaving at 7a and returning sometime after dark. I’m babysitting her dog. My knees and cranky hip could not handle the backseat for that long. Airplanes seats did me in on the way down here. Luckily I have a chiropractor I see each year when I’m here.
She made me a turkey breast and I’ve already had a turkey sandwich. I am snug and happy.
