Sarah Palin not anti-choice enough?
A far right group claims the former Alaska governor's rhetoric on abortion sounds too "liberal" and "pro-choice"
BY KATE HARDING
In Salon today, Max Blumenthal writes of Sarah Palin, "her career has become a vehicle through which the right-wing evangelical movement feels it can express its deepest identity in opposition both to secular society and to its representatives in the Obama White House. Palin is perceived by its leaders -- and followers -- not as another cynical politician or even as a self-promoting celebrity, but as a kind of magical helper, the God-fearing glamour girl who parachuted into their backwater towns to lift them from the drudgery of everyday life, assuring them that they represented the 'Real America.'" That's an astute (and incredibly disturbing) assessment of how many right-wing evangelicals perceive Palin -- but some of them aren't so impressed. The 527 group American Right to Life has compiled a "prolife profile" of Sarah Palin that describes her as a cynical politician indeed, a fake anti-choicer whose "words and actions prove that she is officially pro-choice and stands against the God-given right to life of the unborn."

How much more pro life does a person have to be in order to be considered pro life. She did not abort her down syndrome baby..THAT’S pro life right there.
maybe palin is pro-choice for everyone else but pro-life for herself, so why do the left fear her so much
527 group
Need I say anymore?
sarah is exposing the corrupt media- im sure people can see this huh?
Yeah, nuff said..I just had to read this and laugh. Not pro life enough, what more does she have to do
all question that every interviewer have asked her on this issue were all focused on what she feel about it herself, never on what laws she would impose on others. Every response Palin have given on this issue all points to personal opinion for herself
The good people at C4P will easily demolish this crapola.
Palin may very well be Libertarian on this issue
Salon.com is looking out for pro-lifers? I’m touched.
Who is posting this comment, anyway?
Reagan never made a lot of noise about abortions, either.
LOL! They’re DESPERATE! Hilarious!
methinks she has to storm an abortion clinc, kill the abort dr with a moose rifle, the shuttle the expecting mother to a safehouse.
This sounds like some Hucksters are trying to divide and conquer the conservative base.
Actually I believe they already have. I read rumors that Huckabee has been going to pro life groups and starting this nonsense. Now I have no idea if this is true or not, but if it is and he is the one spreading these lies, well I never cared for Huckabee before but I will NEVER look at him the same again.
She talks about HER own personal opinion about being pro life. Of course she won’t say what she would do if she were President, because she is not President. Plus I don’t believe anyone has asked her what she would do
BTTT!
That’s the rumor going around. That it started with Huckabee himself spreading this
“Salon.com” — I could have quit right there. Maybe they’ll go down with the print media.
I wouldn’t put it past Huckabee to do this. The guy has all the integrity of a garter snake.
Speak for yourself, Kate Harding.
