"White House Defends Stimulus Act Despite Government Audit Questioning the Job Numbers"
SNIPPET: "(CNSNews.com) - The White House defended the effectiveness of the economic stimulus act on Monday after a government audit last week called many of the reported job numbers into question.
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported that $173 billion of the $787 billion stimulus package had been paid out by the federal government as of Sept. 30. Thats about 22 percent of the total, and it indicates that 78 percent of the stimulus funds have not been paid out at a time when unemployment was rising."

They are ignoring anything that does not support their pet theories... just like the Gore-Bull Warming debacle... Copenhagen will go on nonetheless...

I am skeptical that it even created a single new job. All it did was pay off Obama supporters, temporarily stop some government layoffs and fund government to do lists already in the queue.

Obaba is saving the money to steal every election he can in 2010. One thing is for certain. He doesn't have to worry about the economy peaking too soon.

Obama deliberately murdered the economy, so that he could rebuild it according to his personal taste.

Obama deliberately murdered the economy, so that he could rebuild it according to his personal taste. He is getting plenty of assistance from Congress. I think the uninformed and wishy washy independent voters will wake up for 2010. Hopefully it won't be too late..

Anything past 2010 will be too late. I base this on 30 years in high finance. We are dealing with MONSTERS here.
