FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Thousands of people braved a cold, drizzly Monday for a chance to meet former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who was signing copies of her memoir at a Fort Bragg store.
Some people camped out overnight, and the line snaked around the North Post-Exchange by the time Palin arrived at 11:15 a.m. The crowd chanted Palin's name when her "Going Rogue" tour bus pulled up outside the PX.
"We love Sarah because she's a woman and she's smart," Sandra Harvath said.
"She loves this country. I voted for her last time, and I'd vote for her (next) time if she ran again," Barbara Lewis said.
"She's a real down-to-earth woman – she's a classy woman when she needs to be – and she hunts moose," Henrietta Forsyth said.
Tony McGhee of Wilmington said he had waited outside the PX since about 10 p.m. Sunday.
"Look at it this way: You only have a limited amount of time to get the book signed. If you're in the front of the line, you're guaranteed to get the book signed," McGhee said.

Sarah is showing that ‘Kodiak Wing’ that Jeff refers to in his posts. Mama Bear is showing some claw and fang on Greta tonight...best interview to date. The ‘Perky One’ tried to get an interview again, and Sarah declined. Gee...wonder why?
It will turn up on YouTube...this is edgy Sarah...I like it.
Greta just had a great interview with Sarah and the last part tomorrow.
Great questions on Foreign Policy, Health Care, Economy, etc. Sarah answered and ripped through the questions with
informative and realistic views.
Iconic? I forget what that means! Got two books signed by her here in Indy and felt like I was about ten years old as I got closer and closer to her. Her comments are so dead on it almost hurts to hear them...we have heard so much clap trap for so long, even from those in our own party.
Sarah-what is she angry about (stupid question, I know, we are all ANGRY at EVERYTHING that flop in the WH is doing!)- any specifics? I do not get Fox News Cable here in Indy, we are trying to save money just now.
The interview is on C4P if you want to watch it. She was pissed at Obama at how he is treating our military and refusing to make a decision on Afghanistan. She also brought up the “Oh this would make a nice photo op” of when he was with the military. She was really upset over that.

I can tell you it pained WRAL to show the support Sarah Palin got in FAyetteville, NC - bigtime. They are sooooo in the leftist, liberal, Democrat party camp.
