Inhofe Threatens ‘ClimateGate’ Investigation

Appearing this morning on the Washington Times‘ program, “America’s Morning,” Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) threatened to call for an investigation of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the United Nations on the way they “cooked the science to make this thing look as if the science was settled when, all the time, we knew it was not.”

I hope that you are just condemning that part of NASA that may have been involved with AGW. There are many folks that have not been convinced that the "science is settled". Most of us are, by trade, trained to look at data objectively and let the data take us where it may....

Here is an excerpt from the former NASA administrator that may help show that not all of NASA is rotten to the core.

"I have no doubt that a trend of global warming exists," Griffin told Inskeep. "I am not sure that it is fair to say that it is a problem we must wrestle with."

"To assume that it is a problem is to assume that the state of Earth's climate today is the optimal climate, the best climate that we could have or ever have had and that we need to take steps to make sure that it doesn't change," Griffin said. "I guess I would ask which human beings -- where and when -- are to be accorded the privilege of deciding that this particular climate that we have right here today, right now is the best climate for all other human beings. I think that's a rather arrogant position for people to take."

"Griffin's comments -- released in transcript form by NPR -- immediately drew stunned reaction from James Hansen, NASA's top climate scientist at the Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York.

"It's an incredibly arrogant and ignorant statement," Hansen told ABC News. "It indicates a complete ignorance of understanding the implications of climate change."

That he is responding and interpreting the quotes means there are probably no legal implications. No matter how unscientific and unprofessional these characters were, it's going to be hard to convict them of a conspiracy to cover up FOI data (the most serious charge I can see). They won't be charged either because climate alarmism is politically correct in England right now.

I have harped a bit on the crucial need for this Senator and others on both sides of the house that are on board to the maligned science behind global warming to take a stance and for the sake of not only the United States future but the whole world put these people out of business while there is still time to do it. Their are very powerful forces at work to socialize the world and take supreme control over the masses, regardless of claims of sovereignty. Global industrial and banking groups who could give a $hit less for what the United States of America stands for in principle, and a number of other western free nations.
They want complete control. Their operational arms such as the UN for one must be put on notice the game at least regarding global climatic issues is done.
If not. Our kid's as well as those of us of younger age ass's are literally grassed.
Sorry young mom and dad you cannot produce any kids, they are heating up the earth... It boils down to this, in one of it's subtle mission objectives.

It is time for the American People to DEMAND Congressional Hearings on this matter.
