Sarah Palin arrived at Fort Bragg this morning to a media mob and cheers from more than 1,000 people lined up for her book-signing event.
About a dozen people had been waiting since Sunday.
Palin's bus pulled up to the North Post Exchange just after 11:15 a.m. and the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate emerged in a black suit to cheers and whistles.
As she passed the collected media, Palin was asked what she was thankful for this holiday season.
"I'm thankful for the U.S. military, the best in the world," she said.
The line to see Palin extended far out the door of the post exchange into the raw, drizzly weather. People stood or sat in folding chairs. Some held umbrellas. Many were reading copies of the former Alaska governor's recently released memoir "Going Rogue." One woman clutched three copies of the book.

About 20 reporters from newspapers, TV stations and other outlets are on hand. Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren is traveling with Palin, Fort Bragg officials said.

God bless and protect Sarah Palin, God bless America, forgive us our national indifference, and turn our hearts back to you Lord, in Jesus name, amen.
AP claiming “hundreds”
typical
Amen brother.
Her supporters are very passionate about her, and they have no intention of voting for anyone else. That might not be logical, but then again, we are not in logical times.
The days of fighting leftism with calm logic and facts are pretty much over, IMO. That is why you are seeing FReepers who support Palin get a little more emotional in their posts defending her, and I agree 100%.
When you believe in something passionately, you believe in it and will to the death for it. So to all you haters out there saying Palin is "unqualified" or "she's a quitter:" I DON'T CARE!
Looks like these title games on crowd numbers have been noticed other times by Freepers here:

I believe her son is still in Iraq.
LOL. AP contradicted themselves between the first and last sentence. After all, 1500 is really just three hundred more than a dozen hundreds. It’s only 200 more than a baker’s dozen hundred.

Super quote. Thank you
No, he’s not.
People started lining up for former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's book signing at Fort Bragg at about 1 a.m. Nov. 23, 2009. The Army set parameters for her appearance to prevent political statements that would be critical of President Barack Obama.

Reporters crowd outside a Fort Bragg store on Nov. 23, 2009, waiting for former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who was to sign copies of her memoir. The Army initially barred media access to the event to minimize any political overtones, but it later softened the stance to allow limited media coverage.

Palin signs book
FORT BRAGG, N.C. Between 1,200 and 1,500 people braved a cold, drizzly morning Monday for a chance to meet former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who was signing copies of her memoir at a Fort Bragg store.
It will be fun to watch the Left try to keep the hate going for this woman. They have pretty much said it all and exhausted every possible anti-Sarah theme. It has to get comedic after this.
I know I kick them out of my life whenever possible.
Don't need'um anyhow, anyway.
With the internet everywhere now, I can find out everything anyway, easy peasy non-pc'sy.
Absolutely! I'm surprised they haven't revealed that she was the second shooter on the grassy knoll, or that she kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.
Also: the only reason she didn't kill Abel was because Cain got there first.
One good thing about the Sarah phenomenon is that feminists have, once again, been exposed as a Leftist fraud.
